The Aquaman pic was probably an isolated thing, I don't see another reveal coming for a while, at the earliest around the time the trailer drops. It would be crazy to reveal all the JL guys over one year in advance of the movie that JL will be a sequel to.

That's a cool quote from Robbie. I don't need a movie to wink at me in order to have fun watching it. I find TDK to be a lot of fun, frankly. Joker walking away in a nurse's outfit as a hospital behind him is being blown to bits is way more fun and funny than anything that happened in The Winter Soldier (which I liked quite a bit), for instance.

Any movie with The Joker doesn't have to worry about fun being an issue, as long as you count dark humor- which I do.

I'm glad DC seems to trying to create their own tone with this cinematic universe rather than just follow Marvel's lead. For one, it offers the audience more variety which is good for the genre. And secondly, just by the nature of bringing all these fun characters into the fold, there's going to be an element of fun that automatically comes with that, even if your tone is a little more serious.

It is a little weird to me how both TDK and TDKR are more "fun" than Man of Steel, but whatever, I think BvS has so many large personalities, from Bats to Luthor, that Terrio and Snyder would have to try really hard to suck the fun out of the film.
