Regarding the Rock's comments about Black Adam potentially appearing earlier than what people are expecting; I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a similar scenario that was shown in one of DC's animated shorts where Superman defended Billy from Black Adam's assault as the latter received his powers from the Wizard.

This scenario could work well within Justice League 2, with Billy's and Adam's story being transitioned over into his own solo film afterwards.

DC better keep 'em coming. The Wonder Woman movie will no doubt provide some more: Circe, Cheetah, Hera, Strife, etc. And Catwoman probably isn't out of the question.

What if for the WW movie, they mashed up pre and post New 52 Ares... as in basing the plot on Pérez first arc where Ares wants to start the nuclear war to gain power... but this time, Ares is the old and senile man from New 52, tired of mindless war, so his goal is indeed to end humanity/earth so he can rest. This would depart from the "conquer the world" or "ultimate power" villain, going to a tragic one who would do anything to stop his misery.

I could see them tying his history and the Rock of Eternity stuff in with Wonder Woman somehow. They seem like they would mesh well. Also, didnt The Rock kind of hint that he would be showing up sooner then people expect?

Yes, but he said it in the context of the script coming along really well. It sounded to me more like he meant Shazam might shoot earlier than expected rather than that he might be in another DCCU film before Shazam.
