I have the same feelings about the debate that I've always had, I prefer for Joker to be perma-white.

I liked the TDK Joker but my druthers is a bleached white skin tone too. There's no mandate in this DCCU from on high that states that cannot be so.

Dan Amboyer is actually credited as ''drone pilot'' in BvS, this guy was blonde his entire life, and then painted brown during the filming of the movie, besides have gained a lot of muscle mass, can not be anything, obviously.. but at the same time, can be.

I love Oyelowo but I've always envisioned John as a much bigger guy. Billy Brown is still my pick. Here's to hoping his HTGAWM costar Viola Davis puts in a good word for him with WB.

Were he not already Deadshot I think Smith would have been perfect for John. But, WB decided to give SS a big and talented cast to boost it's chances. Cest la vie.

My own druthers is to have Hal, but I am perfectly fine with going the Timm show route with John. The question though is still who plays him that is a good fit. I think they should just go back to where they started... Common for John Stewart. Chiwetel for Black Manta. Idris will not be appearing in a WB/DCE film anytime soon, period. David? I am not sure he is a good fit for roles in either Marvel or DC but I would be willing to hear people's cases on that. He's incredibly talented but the name African or African American heroes he could be a good fit to play simply escape me.
