I'm sure its been posted, but if not, I thought it was kinda funny. A retro BvS trailer with Reeves and Adam West.

Snyder is one of Miller's biggest fans and even he disagrees with Supes's characterization in TDKR? Ha well that's cool if he's also a superman fan and if he's not adapting TDKR close enough including superman that way then that's great!

Even Miller "disagrees" with Supes characterization in TDKR. He has stated that TDKR's characterization of Supes is just Batman's POV. And he praises John Byrne's Supes as how you do Superman. That is, before Miller went nuts.

That's how you do a Superman film, people! :applaud

:o

Did anyone feel like they saw (Superman) change direction at super speed as there was a blur, and then ran at fast but no longer super speed after?

I may go back to writing fanfic scenes again, if you guys would like.

You were only going to get an infraction for posting the bootleg material....now you have a weeks probation also. You just showed you knew the rules but chose to disobey them.

And there is a good reason for the rule.....it keeps our site from being sued by the studios.

Anyone but me find it odd that a studio would be so secretive and protective over what amounts to free publicity for their product? They put it out for fans to see, but only a few fans, not all of them, because well they're special, they lived close enough to a theater and had the free time when it was showing to be there. Not only did they get to see it in IMAX for free but they got free tickets for a sneak preview showing one week ahead of the rest of the fans and this in turn forces everyone who didn't get to see it to actively avoid spoilers for an entire week.

Seems self-defeating to me but then again, who am I to question these geniuses in the WB marketing dept. They just made your job a lot harder during that week too C.Lee.

I don't see us getting anything else BvS...we got glutted. We could expect:
an updated slate
more casting news...Shazam...GL...WW villain...SS
more crew news...directors of the solo films
when we may see the solo Batman and Superman films

it fits with the WB mindframe...the WB/DC slate wasnt revealed during a fan event...it was revealed during a shareholders meeting. Getting more news at Cnemacon seems to fit.

I think the next wave will be at SDCC. That will be overwhelming for sure.

I also noticed that blur, but I just saw the gif so I thought it was the low quality.

They want hardcore fans to be excited about the movie. The people who go to things like these screenings and cons are the fans who are more likely to voice their opinions. They're going to post on twitter and comment on articles and talk to their friends in real life about the movie. Making them happy creates a lot of positive buzz. Giving them exclusives and swag makes them happy.

Lol love it, on a side note the last 2 photos were how I felt sitting through alien
Vs predator:requiem, couldnt see a damn thing.

I may have missed it but what was the new footage in the imax trailers?

I did go back and see the final fight with Zod and paid close attention to his suit of armor.

It looks like it could very well be what Batman uses to make his armored suit. Zod's has the scratches and markings like we can see on Batman when he looks up.

If he doesn't use Zod's armor then perhaps part of the ship that Superman destroyed will be used to make his armor.

I enjoyed the trailer and I am beyond words excited for this film. I like the fact that Superman is answering for the battle of Metropolis. That said coming from a Batman fan here im disappointed that they are focusing so heavily on him. Differing opinions on the Dark Knight trilogy aside i feel like batman just had his moment. Superman is the light to show the way a symbol of hope for the world to follow. This is his moment in the light I don't want a dark seemingly villainous portrayal. I think you can treat his character in a serious fashion without making it dark and gritty. Yes absolutely its arguably the best version of Batman ever the one we have all been waiting for. But for me it's not for Superman I was a big fan of MOS sure it had it's moments but all in all a good reintroduction. And this isn't coming from some old man stuck in the past im 25 but i have witnessed the many interpretations over the years. I apologize for the rant but I want the core character that is Superman to hopefully reemerge on the other side of the storm cloud that is Batman V Superman.

Did you miss the first part of the teaser? That was all about Superman.

No I saw it your right it was all about the controversy and the fallout of the Metropolis battle. It at least for me didn't highlight the character in a good way.

so, I managed to find the footage online.

I'd imagine Superman is holding back in the fight and that's why he isn't charging at super speed or flying.
