Did the Asa Butterfield/Spider-Man Thing crash the forums?

Are people that mad about that? Personally I'm tired of seeing Spidey in high school and would like to see an older iteration of the character that has some experience under his belt, but it's not the end of the world for me.

The offical Lex pic was released by Entertainment Weekly first. But this doesn't even have any of the trades releasing this pic.

Actually a lot of people were mad that Aquaman has tattoos. It's just after the initial shock of seeing how he looks like in this universe that people accepted it (which is usually the case and I'm sure will happen in time to Leto's Joker).

The article is just a blatant attack on WB when it doesn't even give credible sources. Just seems like Marvel propaganda with the notion that WB should copy Marvel.

I can summarize the article: people are worried because WB is building its universe with its own hands and not copying the Marvel formula.

And no, there is no problem in having five people competing to write a good story. Eh Maybe spend the day bad mouthing WB for that and that it jeopardizes his work as a scooper. Maybe the company chose to do that so you don't leak their scripts anymore Mr. El Maybe.

If their sources are credible, I'm relieved to know it's really 5 different scripts. Because when the names appeared on SSN Insider, I was worried it could be 5 writers on the same script.

Some of those names might not be attached to the film, however. Michael Goldenberg was rumoured even before BvS was announced.

He's the editor of The Wrap, one of the most 4 big trades in Hollywood. He broke the news that Leto was Joker before anybody. Seems pretty reliable to me.
