So if you look at that new Wayne crypt picture, you can see what looks like "Alan Wayne" in the corner and he died in 1922. The same Alan Wayne that was killed by the Court of Owls in 1922? Either hinting at future storylines or just amazing attention to detail.

I don't know if its an owls reference but we certainly know snyder has impeccable attention to detail.

Seems to be pretty extensive, gives all the elements from the trailer .

-the horseback riders
-batman approaching the fortress
-several shots of batman fighting the guards
-and of course the bunker scene with supes ripping off bats mask

I wouldn't be surprised if it's at least 10-15 minutes of screen time. I mean we have to have Batman come out of the bunker, look at the burned Earth, Super Troopers gunning down people, fight with Super Troopers, get captured, escape and then the Parademons show up... And that is just what we can figure right now!

Court of owls would TOTALLY be the way to go for a new batman trilogy.
The owls really helps show off Bruces detective skills, something that I think has always been slightly lacking in film adaptations.

Problem is... How do you continue the DCEU on a planet Earth that has been razed by the forces of Apokalips? It would be a totally different place. That's a good idea for a comic Elseworlds mini series or the like but... I can't see WB doing that for the launch of their super hero films.

Nah..that ending was too convenient and underwhelming..and I hope they don't reduce DS to that.

No one Leaguer should be able to beat Darkseid, not even Superman, at least IMO.

Alan Wayne's first appearance was actually in Batman: Secret Files and Origins #1. I first noticed Snyder's reference to the character and his wife Catherine Van Derm (a Grant Morrison creation) several months ago.
