I'm kind of surprised and disappointed they put that pic in a magazine before release.
I would have preferred the reveal to be the movie.

It's basically the same reveal as the Parademons in the trailer so

Just a little bit more in your face than that

So this dream sequence is so awesome

Alan Wayne's first appearance was actually in Batman: Secret Files and Origins #1. I first noticed Snyder's reference to the character and his wife Catherine Van Derm (a Grant Morrison creation) several months ago.
Which makes it even better. Im really curious as to which robin is dead...

Loved that Bruce Wayne TV Spot.

You know say what you will about Superman Returns but that plane sequence was incredible in that movie. If this does one that tops that I would freak out lol

I agree. That scene was terrific. Also, there is this specific shot of a passenger looking out the window to see Superman holding on to the wing is the best shot of the whole movie if you ask me. Gives me the goosebumps. It makes it look so real.

There's a year and half gap between both films for a two parter.

I don't know if that's a problem. It's already listed as a part 1, part 2. 18 months is perfect to build up hype without letting a serious lapse on any possible cliff hangers from part one.

Most likely placement titles until they reveal the actual title.

Part films are never more than a year long.

Even so, it would be a break from the current climate of comic book films. An in depth two parter would be a welcome event, especially for a villain like Darkseid.

Well whatever it is, im routing for two separate films, but im cool with either.

My educated guesses regarding the Batfamily..

-Scott Eastwood is an undercover Dick Grayson in Suicide Squad. About his role, he has said that "you won't see it coming" and he has been signed for at least 3 films. Apparently he was also offered this role in Suicide Squad OR the chance to audition for Steve Trevor, and he picked this role

-That leaves Jason as the dead Robin. I think the Joblo report is true, about Nightwing and Red Hood both being big parts of the next Batman film

-Jena Malone is Oracle

That sounds about right.

Another idea for the JL movie is a JL-goes-to-Apokolips storyline.

The Darkseid War storyline comes to mind

Nah..that ending was too convenient and underwhelming..and I hope they don't reduce DS to that.

No one Leaguer should be able to beat Darkseid, not even Superman, at least IMO.

I admit it could have been done better but the concept was still sound.

Thank you Snyder.

truly ****ing awesome. i'm so happy.

I'm happy we are getting an expansive DC universe on film, but one single film about the Justice League vs Darkseid would really satisfy me. I'm obviously happy they intend to do sequels, but this is the one I've always wanted.

It's going to be very disappointing if we finally get the Justice League vs Darkseid on film and Gl doesn't show up til the end. I need to see him fighting alongside the League against Darkseid and his forces.

Darkseid is literally the perfect villain to introduce Hal Jordan. Darkseid is already cosmic, you don't need to do too many backflips to intro Hal once you're already going to space with Darkseid

A Justice League movie with Darkseid as the villain and a Batman movie with Robin and i am pretty damn satisfied

Thank you Snyder.

I agree with what Krypton says earlier, those look like firepits. There also appears to be some kind of floating structure in the sky that looks similar to the one in the JL concept art.

Already been confirmed numerous times that the NIGHTMARE is one that Bruce Wayne has. He doesn't sleep at night and has bad dreams at night. One if the alternate future Earth seen here. I imagine that it will be filtered through as flashbacks similar to the flashbacks in Man of Steel.

Other flashback he has is death of his parents.
