I thnk this OMAC theory could be partially true. The OMAC project and a Batman/WW v Superman fight was in the JLM script, and WB has a thing for reusing concepts from previous CBM scripts that never actually materialized.

It's a good theory, don't get me wrong. I would not be surprised if OMAC was part of it. I would rather DC avoid "Superhero team fight robotic army" cliche. We got that in both Avengers (I know the Chitari were organic but then they nuked the mothership and they all died makes them seem a little robotic to me) and in DOFP.

Plus, if they do OMAC now and Brainiac in Justice League (which is the rumor) then it could seem way too similar.

I also don't buy the idea that Luthor would use Zod's body to test Kryptonite. "He still dead? Clearly this will kill Superman!" That's just bad science. :-P. Reverse engineering powers? Has potential.

I'm still leaning towards a singular genetically engineered monster like (but not neccessarily) Doomsday, mostly from preference but with an OMAC twist.
