If done right could be very good, but more expected of course. I rather like the OMACS not using a huge villain for the upcoming movies, but still being a great way to connect with SS and Waller's role between films too.

Look, the OMACs would make for compelling threats due to the fact that human beings are encased within. It also nicely ties into the tech LexCorp is developing. In that regard, it could quite possibly turn out to be one of the cleverest superhero films yet.

But the thing is, with Doomsday, you get this classic hero vs. villain fight of that pleasing animalistic aesthetic, or maybe that's just me. It would be plain awesome to see Lex tinker with Zod's body, which then converts into Doomsday and escapes in a Frankenstein's monster kind of way.

Ultimately though, it all comes down to the execution. Whichever threat ends up tying together the preceding events of the film nicely should be the one they should go with.

We shall see.

I don't know if I quite follow the logic. He wrote multiple so people believed them? I feel like there's a step here I'm missing.

Were they really similar, so they could have been put forward as different drafts, So the scoopers would have read them would think they they were just progressions rather than extremely different storylines?

He wrote multiple scripts and sent them to all the scooper websites. The scoopers then began to scoop based on his scripts.

It's Doomsday, guys. Stop being in denial. :o

Don't get me wrong I'll still be cool if Doomsday is the villain, because up until now it was the most fitting third act villain. But OMAC just seems to fit better.

Wait, it's not Granny Goodness?

OK, so he wrote conflicting scripts and sent them to different websites? I wonder if the second script is better than the one I read (it was so bad!)

Not really...both were pretty bad

I would still REALLY be down for Starro in the JL film. I think it could be done in a cool Sci Fi horror way that would add the complication that we have said the OMACS or something like that would. Civilians under the control of a villain and not just a horde of mindless drones that the heroes can cut through like a hot knife through butter.

Actually a premise like this would be rather different which is hard to do in superhero films  Essentially having a host, very unique circumstances for the heroes. The OMAC(s) would not stop until killing the superheroes, and the superheroes would not want to kill someone that is human inside. I'm pretty into this for a storyline.

I would just hope to see a progression, maybe from the less powerful soldiers that have been programmed to obey Lex ... to the new technology harnessed to create OMACS, or an all power OMAC PRIME/Amazo type creation.

Ok a fan theory I don't hate. I didn't know this could happen. Nice job guys :) The only problem is I really want the OMAC story to happen, and now even a Doomsday or Metallo could fall short of how layered this is sounding. :o

What if Omac is version of Zodsday all in one?

Run wild, jokertodds. You're free.

I can't imagine snyders batman trying to non lethally take down OMAC cyborgs, unless he utilzes the mech suit. He is in significant mortal danger when he is fighting these things and snyder will want to keep realistic, I think, and have him use explosive and explosive batarangs if he has to engage. The feeling is reinforced from the amazing trailer glimpse of Batfleck deftly, but barely, dodging the heat/energy beam. He moved quick but he was a millisecond away from being obliterated, reminds me of the JL show, so unless he's just trying to distract it, I imagine it's his survival first and it will be interesting to see then play it that way, imo.

This whole OMAC blowup is quite hilarious. I've been considering the OMAC theory for a few weeks now, but what got me on to the idea initially was a questioning of why WB decided to do Suicide Squad second (instead of Wonder Woman or Aquaman), and then why Suicide Squad has such a strong metahuman focus. But when Viola Davis revealed that she'd signed on for three films, that got me thinking that she has a part to play in Justice League, and therefore BvS, Suicide Squad and Justice League are more closely tied than previously thought. Together with Bruce Wayne's involvement in Suicide Squad, that made me strongly consider Brother Eye as the Justice League threat. Then from there the evidence continued to pile up. The "Alexander Luthor, Jr." and "Kord Industries" references are just icing on the cake.

Zod could most certainly serve as the basis for an experimental OMAC. After all, LexCorp does get his body from USAMRIID, and the OMAC virus is a LexCorp/DOD creation. And instead of the Brainiac-13 virus, it could be derived from the Kryptonian liquid geo tech (you know, the stuff that can actually hurt Superman). Brother Eye could be based in the Lex/OS, and could possibly hijack an ARGUS/Wayne metahuman-monitoring satellite.

It certainly makes more sense that Bizarro (who'd literally be just like Zod) or Doomsday (who has neither the origins nor the power set concluded from the trailer).

On similarities to Ultron, there's a CBS show called Person of Interest that has a rogue, sentient A.I. that operates nearly exactly like OMAC does in The OMAC Project (how Lord uses OMAC initially). If WB went that route, it would seem nothing like Ultron at all.

I like that comparison. "The Machine" is a great blueprint for Brother Eye/OMAC.
I have a purpose and that purpose is to save humanity from the tyranny of metahuman control.
-Brother Eye-
“He came from a country where the government, in the guise of protector, had absolute control over the citizens. That drove him. I get it. Heck, I’d hate to see that sort of thing happen over here.”

Brother Eye also gives me a HAL 9000 vibe.
