I suppose that none of us really considered OMAC before, because its creation in comics is tied to Batman. I was expecting it to make an appearance in a "Tower of Babel"-like storyline, to tell you the truth, but if it's Lex Luthor who is entirely behind it I'm all for it, it works quite well for this storyline and characters. And as a huge fan of dystopias, I really like the Orwellian nature of OMAC.

Also, modern take on LexCorp they decided to go for makes perfect sense with this, given how OMAC works and what it stands for - Omni Mind And Community. Basically an evil internet.

I guess that "Google" was already taken.

From all we've learned in the SDCC trailer and the Lexcorp viral marketing stuff, thins are definitely leaning towards OMAC more.

If i was in the shoes of Luthor and i received Zods body from the military with the promise of making a weapon to counteract the growing threat of meta-humans then reverse-engineering would be a must to do for Lex.

Yeah all the Lex/OS stuff has me convinced the threat is the OMACS and I thinks it's the perfect way to show case the Trinity coming to together for the first time. Especially with the OMACS being ppl which will make the situation more meaningful instead of battling robots.

There's a human component to OMAC that will help differentiate it from Ultron and the Sentinels. OMAC soldiers are basically nano-enhanced humans. And given that there a real people under there, it raises the stakes a bit. You can't simply destroy them like typical action fodder.

Then you can get into character motivation insofar as why people would agree to be a part of this program. Fear of metahumans, or a lust for that kind of power?

Man you hit the nail right on the head. The piecess really are kinda starting to fit together. OMAC is the only tech that could Luthor could conceive on his own, maybe with Batmans help or not ,within in the film with the function of assessing threats before they endanger the public vibe ,that the "product " puts out. Unless he's giving Bizzaro or doomsday precognitive abilities, that's so raven style, it makes sense and perfectly ties in with today's politics and technology.

As, I said, if it was any other director and not Snyder, this wouldn't cross my mind, but I know how much he pays attention to visuals like this and that his films often have similar hints and connections.

If OMAC's are enhanced humans then this makes a whole lotta sense.

Am I actually reading a plausible theory which encompasses everything we know about the movie so far and ties to the viral Lex/OS marketing and fills in details heard from other rumors?

This board never ceases to surprise me. OMAC was a major part of the George Miller JL movie, and all the pieces of information actually fit well together to support the OMAC theory.
