Good that it's Doomsday over dumb Bizarro. But he looks like Abomination. I think they could have added a bit more to his overall look.

Affleck is great in this trailer. Loving the Bruce and Batman stuff. Superman is well...Superman. Lex is god awful. Looks like there's more destruction than MOS, but let's hope it's more on the outskirts of Gotham/Metropolis, so people don't have an excuse to criticize Superman again for causing unnecessary deaths.

Considering the director is Zack Snyder, I have a lot of hope Doomsday changes his look before the end of the film. I would guess Snyder wants his Doomsday to look better than the comics.

I said this last night, Im happy t have faith in this Lex being a surprise because when they let him have hair, they let him keep his hair ginger. Something I might have said before, but I feel marginalized by that, with all these red headed characters cast away from red head.

Maybe not, most people including myself feel like the trailer showed too much. So I tried that one fixed version to see if the trailer could look better without showing Doomsday and it is. Personally it would've been better if they ended the trailer with Doomsday's roar followed by trinity and cut to logo.

Interesting that we have had some things in Man of Steel and now Batman vs Superman that we nearly had in Superman Lives i.e.

- Black costume for a brief scene (Man of Steel)
- Polar Bear at the Fortress of Solitude (Man of Steel) [Ok there was also one in STM and they didn't fight anyone but I honestly think they did this to take the piss out of Jon Peters]
- Superman vs a Giant Spider (Man of Steel)
- Doomsday (BvS)
- Batman and Superman in the same movie (BvS) [there was a scene in Kevin Smith's script where Batman appeared and although it's never been confirmed rumour has it that Michael Keaton was going to appear as Batman in Burton's film]

That's all I can think of right now but there is probably more.

I've watched a few they all just edit out doomsday, and switch the lex Luthor meet Clark/Bruce scene to the end

I watched one and thought meh, since then I haven't watched any. I actually find it quite arrogant for people to use the word "fixed" aswell.

It just showed the trinity teaming up against Doomsday. That's like the only thing extra we saw and we already knew they'd team up against something. We still don't know how the Knightmare sequence comes into play, how Wondy fits in, how Aquaman fits in, how Cyborg fits in, if Flash is in this film and how he fits in, how this leads into the JL, what Lex's ultimate plan is.

I think that's why I'm having a hard time enjoying the board. There's still so much to speculate on, but everyone is focused on the one thing we already knew was coming.

The only thing spoiled was the villain itself, Doomsday. Other than that, I implore the ones arguing against this to read the synopsis out loud and tell me what else this trailer gave away.

There was, yeah. It's either that or this isn't his final form. And if that is true, that means he wasn't even finished when Lex decided to release him. Or...he's just defective and Lex is a poor scientist.
