Probably same people praises Batfleck as the best batman already. Being overhyped can make people look foolish later on.

Jurassic World is a good example. People were praising everything about the movie and couple of months later "i think it wasn't that good."

Yeah, I can admit I'm guilty of this too sometimes. Pretty much the only films I see in theaters are ones which I'm confident look good or will entertain me. But there are some times I walk out trying to convince myself that the feelings I had going in were right only to realize a week later that I am kidding myself ie. Transformers 2. But then there are those movies I'm so pumped for then walk out like "what happened?" ie. Jurassic World.

On that note, I'm extremely confident that BvS will be extremely enjoyable. Considering how much I like Snyder's directing of Watchmen and Man of Steel, Ben Afflecks acting, and the characters of Batman and Superman, they would have to do something really bad in order for me not to like it. Plus there's the beautifulness that is Gal Gadot :drl:

so I happened to come across a supposed early review from a test screening that had some spoilers . I think the website was screen rant. I don't wanna post what I read cause well spoilers but has anyone heard about this and is it true or debunked . The article did say that the test screening this was seen at did in fact take place and some of the things do match up to what the trailers hint at . However I'm very aware of how false they could be but if true it's gonna be amazing and some nice surprises
Debunked.

"Batman V Superman also stars Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash?! DC is cramming too many characters in one movie!"

Well, according to the above, Avengers: Infinity War is going to have 67 characters. Beat that.

First off, They've said they were joking about that number and secondly, it apples and oranges. Dc is introducing these characters, marvel isn't.

Could we not turn this into a Marvel vs. DC argument?

Both are awesome and it's a great time to be a comic book film fan.

I'd like to frame one of these and hang it on my wall.

I think with Jurassic World it was nostalgia. There haven't been much dino flicks in like a decade, and there were a lot of references to the first movie.

As for Batfleck, saying he might be the best Batman ever and saying he already is are two different things. I personally won't be surprised if he's the best, but I am willing to wait and see.

What if he performs Bruce Wayne awkwardly? What if his Batman has few practical stunts and is basically Iron Man in a Batsuit?

What if the Robo-Voice is modulated to the point that it sounds like a parody?

What if Affleck looks bored when saying lines?

All of these are a possibility.

Gos, I hope not. I haven't been satisfied by a Batman film since 2008. I know this is technically not a "Batman" film but...I want BatFleck to be great.

I'm gonna have a good night's sleep and enjoy the DCEU storm from 8am on the 20th (where I live).

Edit: Same for Silliminite.

I'm gonna just keep my expectations for tonight low.

I'm expecting some goodies, but I really think a lot of us are expecting TOO much. Like I'm expecting a lot of "Too much Kevin Smith talking!" kinda s***. And it's like, you know... what did you think they hired him to do?

While tend to only see movies that look really good or even great to me from the previews and about 95% of the time I end up liking the movie just has much has I thought I would. I can probly only name about 10 movies that I have felt like I was disappointed in and a few of those I still like just thought I would like it more. JW I loved my self. Also most movies if I don't have much of a interest in and end up seeing it latter on video just because I hear a lot of good things about it like say the Martion movie I tend to not like just like I thought I wouldn't.

When it comes to batman vs superman I think it could be good but I am also very iff because of who is playing lex, fell like it may be to much action with no substances like say transformers and still don't know about ben playing batman. I am confident I will love the score has zimmer is like the best and I like Cavin has superman in man of steel and I liked man of steel over all even though it did do a lot of things bad it did more good.

Any word on when the BvS tickets go on sale? Wanna make sure I get good seats.

Oh, for sure, that's going to be annoying. "All Kevin Smith did was act like an overgrown kid fan!" Uh... You are just now noticing this?

To be honest the reviewer says that the movie is long and compares it the Force Awakens as far as length goes . Says the movie has a lot going on but manages to keep you involved and entertained . However the title "dawn of justice" really comes into play in the 3rd act . I would post spoilers but don't know how to do the spoiler tag . If it's true and Snyder does manage to do what the review says then yes it will be awesome

So its not really that long lol. Force awakens if you don't count the credits is only about 2 hours and 8 minutes. Most movies are like 2 hours. When I think long I think 2 hours and like 30 minutes or something.

I don't know are we going to get 1 more trailer? I am thinking maybe we will get 1 more trailer and then the move will go on sale. Going with the ticket thing has then been any talk yet about how much the movie should make on OW?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a lot of repeat information tonight for the general audience. Like they have Deadshot's mask so Geoff Johns will probably talk about the character. Same with the other props.
Smith will talk about what it means as a fan and they'll show the clips.
I don't expect more than that.
