I think this kind of stuff is completely canon.

Safe to say that the big battle happens on Stryker Island- an abandoned prison? Snyder wasn't kidding when he mentioned that Metropolis and Gotham are like SF and Oakland.

Stryker's or Tri-Corner Yards (Tri-Corner=Trinity?) is where the big battle with DD goes down I am thinking.

This was a reason I always felt that the gap had to be years. It makes sense that putting something like that up wouldn't be a decision made overnight, much less actually building it. Look at how long the construction lasted in down town Manhattan in rebuilding after 9/11.

They made metropolis and smallville seem really close in MoS, but with metropolis confirmed as a coastal city, they had to be atleast a thousand miles apart
