Did you not read Tower of Babel? Bruce plans for every possibility even when he KNOWS it wont happen. Been that way for years now. (and is why I always found stories featuring him boring...he is a *****e)

That was precisely my point. He PLANS for it, he doesn't enact the plan before it's happened, let alone when there's a 1% chance.

It's during the Congress hearing. Scoot McNairy's character, reportedly named "Wallace", is called to testify. Luthor has covered his medical expenses after he lost his legs in the Battle of Metropolis, and apparently embedded a bomb in Wallace's wheelchair, which goes off while Superman is giving his statement, killing Wallace, Senator Finch and multiple other politicians, police officers, military personnel, journalists and civilians, all which are blamed on Superman. It's the incident that pushes Batman over the edge in believing Superman must be dealt with before he directly or indirectly causes more destruction.

I've been lurking these forums for awhile now (dating back to the build up to TDKR) and must say I can't wait for the 24th! Got my IMAX ticket for the 6:45 showing near Toronto.

Just wanted to say that I love the dialogue here, even though I don't always agree with everyone's opinions, I respect them. e.g. Gina Carano for Wonder Woman, imo was yikes... no ty.

For a middle aged lapsed comic book nerd, this is certainly a great time for fans of the medium. Back in my day, we didn't have the internet, or running water, and the dream of movies like we've seen in the last 5 years were all pipe dreams!

I'm not choosing sides in the Marvel vs DC debate, because I love them both! I hope they both put out fantastic movies and push each other to succeed. And I really like what DC is doing to set it apart from Marvel. The idea of a multiverse vs a single contiguous universe is great, and both have their merits. The darker/grittier tone also works because there's no sense just doing what Marvel is doing, that would be ridiculous. I'm glad that they're doing things differently, because I get two different kinds of movies/universes. It's like graphic novels... you can have two featuring the same character and read two drastically different stories. This is a good thing, IMO.

That EW article outlining WB's planned for the DCEU was a great read, and reinforces that yes, there is a plan! Adult supervision is present, no need to panic, folks. I loved MoS, and hated Superman Returns. I realize there are many who would disagree with me, but if the rumours of BvS being "more like MoS" then yay for me, couldn't be more excited.

I've been lurking almost non-stop in the last month trying to figure out which spoilers are real, but I guess we'll all know soon enough. Can't wait for all your reviews/opinions once the movie is out.
