Well, uh, I wonder what Gal's husband thinks of that....
If it's true that they're worried about Green Lantern being a member in Justice League therefore not showing up in the Part One or even Part Two, then they really need to stop worrying about what happened before with Ryan Reynolds.
If GL doesn't show in Part One, well, I'll get over it, even though it would be disappointing. But we were expecting that he would at least show up in Part Two. To not have him, and just have 6 members (even in the first movie) makes it almost as small as the first Avengers movie.
These superhero team is more iconic than The Avengers though. For the Avengers movie, they could have gone without Ant-Man, Wasp, Vision, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch for the first movie, as long as they get the most important ones that they must have: Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Hawkeye. (I can't speak for Black Widow though since I haven't read that much Avengers comics)
For the Justice League though, it's always been 7 or 8, but at least 7. Members have been changed over the years, but you've got to AT LEAST have Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash AND GREEN LANTERN.
As for the remaining...Aquaman also. And either Cyborg or Martian Manhunter...Plastic-Man or Hawkgirl as they've often been replaced, making it 7 or 8 members roughly. But Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern always been a part of the team. I can't see the Justice League without Green Lantern. Whether it's Hal Jordan or John Stewart, he's one of the most iconic of the league along with the others.
What should they have to worry about having GL be on the team anyways? It's not a solo-Green Lantern movie so he doesn't need to play a huge part, but at least a supporting part. And it would be a different actor (if it is Hal Jordan) so we wouldn't need to worry about Ryan Reynolds.

I dont think that counts as silverage...wasnt Ambush Bug in the 80s thus the Bronze age?
BTW that wasnt a cover...I believe it is the last page of the issue but I havent read it in years so I cant remember. I have all the Ambush Bug issues mainly cause I worked in a comic shop in like 2004-5 and just went wild buying all the issues on the cheap(I fell in love with Ambush Bug when he joined the Justice League in one issue of 52)

Affleck and Gadot look serious, while Cavill looks calmly happy.
How are they not Batman, WonderWoman, and Superman?
What are the chances of the extended cut being released the same day as the blu-ray releases? Or do y'all think they'll wait a year?

I look at it this way. When we do get the GLC we'll also get Sinestro Corps, RLC, Star Saphires, Indigo Tribe, BLC, Larfleeze, the Guardians and everything else tied to Johns' canon. Essentially we'll get the Green Lantern Cinematic Universe which is also a part of the DC Cinematic Universe.
Green Lantern will be WB's answer to Star Wars except it can intergrate and crossover with the larger DC universe unlike the MCU.

I hope there's a regular Unrated Cut edition that comes out the same day as the theatrical edition (that's what they did with Watchmen).Oh, they will wait to milk us for maximum cash.
