anyway, there're only so many "bigger names," and WB have to finely distribute them, and not just heroes, DC villain gallery is so great that we need some good actors/actresses to fill it.

Yes, quite a bit is riding on the success of BvS, an entire slate of movies, in fact.

The success of BvS will snowball into the next films obviously. But WB need to stay the course regardless. Tweak what they will but have the confidence to continue moving forward.
