Why are people jumping to conclusions that JL is more Batman centric simply because Jim Gordon had been cast? What about the fact we know the cast includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane and from the BTS pic Snyder posted that there is plenty of Atlanteam presence?

Because...

JJ Simmons as Gordon is great casting. Was happy when I saw it. I wonder though if Gordon in JL will be cameo or not?

Great casting indeed! Can't wait to see him as Gordon!

Except if you actually take into account the League they have confirmed, 3 out of the 6 are already diverse, at this point no more changes for diversity are necessary.

Superman - White
Batman - White
Flash - White
Aquaman - not white/Hawaiian/islander
Wonder Woman - Not white/woman
Cyborg - Not White/Black

and if Mera joins them for this movie that makes 2 women

Pretty sure Gadot is white. At any rate, it's silly to debate how much diversity is necessary. If race or sex won't affect the character, then just cast whomever. That's my general outlook.

Can anyone please summarize what the IMDB user said?

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
The Flash
Aquaman
Cyborg
Lois Lane
Jim Gordon
Alfred probably
Mera
Iris West
Silas Stone probably
Some Amazons probably, most likely Hippolyta
maybe Robin, Nightwing or Oracle

I wouldn't peg Gadot as white as she is from Israel making her middle eastern. I do agree that the door should be kept open and some considerations kept on the table, but you should still try for accuracy first and if a promising option comes up, then you can take it like they did with Momoa; a change that I think works great. What I am against however are those people who rail about how there must be diversity, more specifically people that insist it should be done through changing rather including characters who are naturally diverse or creating new characters.

I love the current DC film universe fandom but we sure do love our memes, side-by-side comparisons to cartoons, and repeating ourselves for eternity.

From Wikipedia:

"she has described her family background as "1/4 Polish, 1/4 Austrian, 1/4 German, and 1/4 Czech")."

Yeah, and Charlize Theron definitely isn't white because she's from Africa...

I still wouldn't peg her as white because she has naturally olive skin, and having seen plenty of white people (myself included), they tend not to have olive skin tones (there are exceptions but I don't think of Gal as one of them).

Yea.. no.

you really don't enjoy the side by side comparisons to the cartoons and comics? that's literally the entire point of live action comic book movies for me... seeing what you previously enjoyed FINALLY being adapted into live action ... it's why i'm here. nothing compares to seeing my favorite comics and cartoons being adapted into live action. it's a unique and rewarding experience

I am aware people can move places, so while Charlize is clearly white, she is also African. Whereas Gal actually looks middle eastern, although of a lighter skinned variety.

IKR? According to his logic, Elodie Yung is also "white" because her mother is French, even though her father is Cambodian.

Anyway who cares. Gal has the exotic look which is required for Themyscirans. That is all.

So turns out my cinema is showing Man of Steel back to back with BvS. Hmmmm!

Her exotic look is one of my favorite aspects of her Wonder Woman as it doesn't really work (for me) when she looks like any other white western-European/American.
