I know I'm late on this but I just had to weigh in, but I think JK Simmons is excellent casting as Gordon! It came as such a surprise, too, making it even better. Hopefully more good JL casting is on the way.

I mostly know JK by quite explosive and loud roles, villainous too, it will be nice to see him as Gordon, since he's quite opposite.

I'm gonna need funding in a sum of $20 million in unmarked bills and an unlicensed helicopter.
Did you mentioned that you live near Leicester Square? if I'm going to guess --somewhere in Russell Square/Camden. :lmao:

solo Batflick needs to have a true R rated version, I want to witness Bats and Gordon converse with obscenity.

As the WB seems concerned about using Hal Jordan, maybe they should just go ahead and cast John Stewart's Green Lantern. I'm all for it. Forget Hal Jordan for now. Moreover, that gives the Justice League more of a diversity than having just one black guy on the team (Cyborg). Reading the comics, I've always had a problem with Wonder Woman being the only female of the 7 main members. The rest were usually men and all white guys. At least now, it's better then before. The animated series also improved that. Two women rather than just one, and only one black guy but that was at least some improvement.

Whomever they cast as Shazam, I hope they go for someone hispanic.

Uh... huh...

Black Canary, Zatanna, Hawkwoman, Sue Dibney, Vixen, Gypsy, Fire, Ice, Powergirl, Dr. Light, Maxima, Huntress, Big Barda and quite a few more DC heroines would be quite interested in hearing how Wonder Woman was the only female ever in the Justice League of America?

Steel, Black Lightning, Bloodwynd, Amazing Man, Vibe, Kyle Rayner, Vixen, Ryan Choi, Dr. Light and Vixen also wonder when they all became full blooded Caucasians?

Jk Simmons is an amazing choice. Two thumbs up. For me, though the prospect that Commish Gordon even has a ROLE in Justice League is what has me giddy.

Common is already in Suicide Squad and the character he's playing is most likely not John Stewart.

Wait, what? I had no idea. I don't know how I missed that. Anyways, there was some guy on the media, and actor petitioning to play John Stewart in Justice League...I may have gotten that mixed up...it wasn't Common, no?

Uh...I said the "MAIN" members, or usual main members if you will. I am aware of all those members. It also seems clear that the JL Part One will not have more than 6 or 7 members.

For a guy that goes on about diversity you sure can confuse two African American dudes that look nothing alike very easily.

You already know he's talking founders lol. Why blitz him with B and C listers?

Common was going to play John Stewart in George Miller's Justice League. The guy that was petitioning to play John Stewart was Tyrese Gibson.

how close is the the train station to Leicester square im going to be coming from Nottingham?

The League has DECADES of history. There were runs for years without the founding seven, and LOTS of stories with more than one female.

I think that you have to get to St Pancras rail station, change to tube at King Cross to Leicester Square. Or by bus to Victoria and change to tube to Leicester square. The Leicester Square tube station is close by the actual square.
