Obviously, the lives taken should be respected, obviously, we should "remember" the tragedy and make all efforts to prevent it from happening again. But I don't think any one date should have any more or less significance than another. We should be respecting and remembering everyday, so I don't feel the need to "come together" just because it happens to be a certain day on the calendar; to me, that feels fake and forced.
