Each month I go up the order of Amazing and other titles. Only those comics highlghted in red are currently available due to disk space available. Currently in Amazing 330-350. Until I get to all of the v1 of Amazing,PP Spectacular,Adjectivless and Web will be in synch with Amazing.

Welcome to the Hype and thank you for your kind words. The purpose of the Library is to expose old and new Spider-Man readers to the Amazing Spider-Man v1 world. This is the foundation of all continuity within Spider-Man. At this point I now have Amazing,PP Spec,Adjectiveless and Web in synch, so that CONTINUITY is maintained( a word you'll be hearing a lot on these boards) While I would love to put up everyones favorites,I am following the natural flow of 1-441 of Amazing.I am open to Limited Series postings however and always enjoy feedback.If this library helps new readers become Spider-Man comic book readers and collectors then it has done it's job.

Now that I have the Amazing Spider-man 1-500 on CD, I was really looking forward to downloading all the others, ... but those seem to be .cbr, and even when I follow instructions, they don't seem to work for me. What gives?

Any reason they can't all be .pdf files?

Here's the story,while I personally own ALL of the comics on my site, I was able several years ago to get these comics in pdf and cbr. from other sources(hey, ain't no way I'm going to sit and scan tens of thousands of pages).Amazing and Spectacular are on pdf. all other titles are on cbr.
Let's go slow because I had problems for quite sometime as well getting the cbr to open.
First RIGHT click the comic cover
Then Save target as-put that on your desktop
you will now have a window open-at the bottom of this window you will see two lines-One is File name,right below that is Save as type
In the file name keep everything that already appears just ADD .cbr
On the line below that Save as type there is a pull down -pull that down an replace htm with ALL files. then SAVE
Once you do this you will be in Spider-Man heaven.
Please don't forget to sign my guest book and check out my store.The library is and will always be free-the web site costs to maintain. Patronizing the store keeps the library open to the world as I beleive it should be.

Do you have the CDisplay program? If you don't, try downloading it off the web. You should be able to read all those comics then. Later

When I do that I get a .cbr.html file, even when ALL FILES is chosen... and I don't add the .htm When opened it just displays code. Rats.

Okay I hate to see a grown woman cry. First, if you haven't already, go to Limited Series page 11 and get the free downloads for adobe reader and Cdisplay. I assume you have a PC not sure how things work with a Mac.

Thanks for the moral support. I have a MAC and PC, but I'm downloading on the PC... I'm using Netscape. The PDFs work fine.

I right click on the file > Save link target > .cbr appears at the end of the file name, I don't have to add > All files is the only option > the file downloads.

But when I try to open it, the file name in the preview says FileName.cbr.html ACK! I right click on the downloaded file, go to properties and it says it's an html file and it won't let me change the name.

When I start CDisplay it doesn't see the file...

I've read some of the old posts about this and I'm searching other boards... come Monday I'll ask the resident computer geek at my office.

hey donald buddy, im newbee and i have some question to ask, may u answer for me, sorry for bugging u, please, lets start :
1. in section Ultimate Marvel Team-Up #6 -#10, it says that Page not found or be removal;
2. for filename *.cbz and *.cbr, d u know another application for read them except CDisplay, and where did i can get Cdisplay for free, man!
