For someone who said he likes both characters a lot, you do seem to lean more toward the thought; "Yay Spidey, meh Batman"
not to sound hipster-ish but the so called "fans" that only emerged AFTER TDK came out have ruined Batman for me.
I use to love batman, then got more interested in Spidey but still really liked BatMan, now BatMan is just meh cause he is way over hyped.
Iron Man is just as overhyped too. nobody hardly ever gave a damn about BatMan or Iron man until Iron Man and TDK came out.
I don't understand how some of you don't see it, well i know soem of u are still blind, high, and drunk off the hype surrounding their films.
and don't get em wrong i'm guilty of being sucked into the hype as well. it's hard not to.
but after 2008 was over i took a step back and realized neither movie was as awesome as people make them out to be, not just the movies that came out that year but the rest in their respective series as well.
I mean I like IronMan AND BatMan, i like their comics, i enjoyed cartoon shows they have been in, and like all their films.
But they are over hyped.
Their movies and their games. and as characters neither one of them deserve as much hype as they have been getting either.
u can argue all day long about "omg this was awesome and that was awesome" about them, but i still say its all hype.
are they actually awesome? yes. are the movies awesome? yes
games? yes
as awesome as everyone makes them out to be? heck no.
I'm not a Spidey fanboy either. most often times fanboys are placed into two categories: the fans who LOVE everything, or the fan who HATES everything.
I'm neither. I'm the fan who genuinely likes and sometimes loves certain Spidey things, and genuinely dislikes and sometimes hates Spidey things.
so I'm a hardcore fan who, despite likes Batman is annoyed how it seems like everyone worships him? sue me!
