616 Venom is just pure awesome though. Hell, Activision should make a free-roam Venom game based on his anti-hero days. If it was good, I could see it being a big hit since Venom is so big amongst casual Marvel fans.

see thats what makes me wonder what if a SM4 game came out? would they have to ret-con SM1 and SM2 for the game's story?

It sure looks like an apartment of Peter but I wonder if Peter will move out in the first film already? Because the room looks not like anything from Aunt May's house.

Looking at the second pic, I get a heavy "Shocker" feeling. It is some sort of robbery that feels like Shocker could be involved in. And Shocker has never been used by Beenox in the 360/PS3 versions of their past games. I hope he's involved in this game.
