Great episode. You have to wonder who the flesh faced guy is and yes I forgot his name but I'm drinking so it's allowed. Looking forward to next week.
Bloodyface I believe, he's supposed to be the big bad this season.

This episode was great. Disappointed that Adam Levine died, thought he would be doing a whole season. And how did Quinto get top billing in the credits when he wan't even in the episode?

A main cast member doesn't necessarily have to be in the episode to be listed in the credits.

I love how every actor from last season seems so different from who they played last year. Sister Jude is just such a different brand of ***** than Constance was, Peters is a good guy this time, Lily Rabe is almost like a completely different actress. All great.

But that chick who gave Paulson the flower at the beginning was by far the creepiest part of the episode.

So, who is Bloody Face? And what the **** is going on with the aliens?

I'm assuming those questions are rhetorical?

I don't know man, just so many questions. I have a feeling that either Kit or Grace is actually crazy. Also, Jessica Lange is even creepier this year.

Great premiere. Creepy nuns, mad scientists, aliens, monsters, ghosts, and Adam Levine getting his arm ripped off. :awesome: I loved it!

I'm not sure if he's dead just yet. Even if he is, that doesn't mean he won't be appearing throughout the season. Quite a few characters died last season after all. :cwink:

They need to invent a new word to describe this show, because weird doesn't even begin to cover it.

Jesus, Sarah Paulsons lisp is distracting. I didn't notice it until I rewatched the first season on blu-ray, but now that I've heard it its all i can hear when she talks.

Also, I liked the episode. Glad this show is back. Aliens, crazies, and monster things? awesome.

I believe AHS is what the kids today refer to as "Cray Cray". :o

Priests shouldn't be hot. I've seen some hot ones in my day and it's just asking for trouble.

Jessica Lange is killing it already.

Okay, as someone who never watched the first season and has been meaning to, when I jumped into this last night I was very pleased I didn't have to watch it. The idea of reusing some of the same actors in completely different times is pretty fascinating. And this show is pretty fascinating. Just the mysteries, the complete what the **** moments just made me pretty damn interested. I just love the 60's setting combined with horror, even the alien thing.... it's just all very cool. It reminds me of Stephen King but with a lot more sex. Great atmosphere, great ideas and cool hooks to keep me watching next week. **** and I was watching Arrow on Wednesdays?

Yeah that little girl gave me nightmares last night. She was hideous, but then again there were a couple of characters that were.

It's real nice to see it's still wacky but I like that it has a more smoother feel to it, part of the charm of the first season was the unstructured crazy **** Murphy & Falchuk threw on the show whereas here it's more refined in spite of everything going on and I like it. The new cast members do blend wonderfully with the returning ones, I love the scenes where Lange and Cromwell's characters clash, speaking of Lange, captivating as usual, it's as enjoyable to watch Sister Jude as much as Constance.

I think they are claiming he went bat shiznit crazy after the fact he encountered aliens in which they killed his wife, which he was blamed for. The mad scientist (probably will be my favorite character this season portrayed by James Cromwell) will operate on Kit and literally create the monster known as Bloodyface from Kit?

I have a hard time believing they were actually aliens. Probably some government experiment gone wrong, or something else is going on. Aliens is a bit much even for this show.

Eh. Used simply as a plot device (so far) they aren't so bad. If they start explaining them and focusing on them then yea it's a bit much. I'm still not sure how I feel about monsters being on here.

This show is so weird even David Lynch would watch it and say WTF

She was the scariest thing in the episode for me.

From what I gathered from the EW interview, the aliens are going to be a major plot point in future episodes. Apparently, Sister Jude [BLACKOUT]gets to meet one firsthand.[/BLACKOUT]

Will she whip it with one of her switches? :p

It would be a cool way for her to meet her demise.
