Americans, y u no stop being negative about Canada/Canadians?

Interesting thing about Quebec, during the last election that separatist party got completely overthrown, went from having about 50 seats in parliament to less than 5.
That's one of the reasons I love this province.

I don't think Americans are negative about Canada. I think American media loves portraying Canada in negative ways because we are enough like them that they can get away with it. If they make negative comments about Canada/Canadians they don't get hit with discrimination suits.

American politicians love Canada because they know they can promise us lots of things and NEVER DELIVER... Free Trade my patootie.

Our actors, our screenplays/stories, our comedians, our dollar being trading at 9 cents better, how - in terms of tourism - people of other countries receive us better than Americans, how Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal are now more "hip" than New York (my hipster friends tell me this one - they say New York and LA are too mainstream now or some ****), how our school systems are better, how our healthcare is better, how we're more rich in natural resources, how we're geographically larger...

-or perhaps it's because no matter how much we brag about our more lofty attributes, we'll always be the USA's *****.
