An Avatar suggestion

I know I'm lucky to have the larger avatar, as I constantly post in a select few threads. But, there are people who have been here much longer than me, and because they are select in what they say, they still have the teeny-tiny avatar. Since post count really doesn't reflect that we necessarily have the best things to say, could there ever be a way that people who have served their time, but might not be so verbose, could be rewarded like the rest of us?

Uh, post count doesn't reflect post excellence, but that's subjective. I think musclesforsupes is a genius/laugh riot. Many think he's a repetitive idiot.
But, post count does indicate good e-citizenship.
You can't get thousands of posts if you're constantly walking all over the rules, posting porn, savagely cyber-bullying people, ignoring admontions from the mods, etc.

And length of having been registered doesn't say much either, if someone joined right after Spiderman Hype and only checked back for info on the Man-Thing movie and split.



But I don't see why it's important enough to bother anyone about. If there are people who hardly say anything, I'll bet they aren't kept up at night full of indignation about the puny avatar with which they've been saddled.

But, it is true that if you get a bigger avatar for more posts, it will encourage more rapid-fire, meaningless posts.

until someone, after thousands of years of tradition, comes, and has a 50x50 avatar, but he thinks the elders are holding him back, taht he is ready to get a 100x100 avvy but he is too witty and too to-the-point and they're gealous. So he makes a deal with Bill Gates and he comes into the Community Forums with a army of n00bs and pwns every newbie and then sends special task-forces to the otehr forums to pwn the good posters.

In a world where the management and mod/admins gave two microscopic ****s about what any users think, that'd be awesome...but would also lead to tyrrany....an ugly Dystopian thing, like the current mutated Death Matches.
