That's great that you were able to meet someone through work.

 

2005, I got on because of the Superman Returns Hype.
I was working a job as Loss Prevention at a big Retail Chain, watching cameras all day and all that, so I spent a lot of time on the Internets.

2006, got offered a job in Florida and took it.

2007, Got Promoted at said Job in Florida. So, Now I spend a little while on the Internets.

 

I actually joined the night the first still of Batman Begins was posted....I remember the scramble to have it scanned at posted online from the Entertainment Weekly.

I actually still have the same job, but now work full-time. I was in school at the time but I am no longer, i'll probably end up going back eventually I guess.

 

I went from being an angry, arumentative, but bright child... to being an angry, argumentative, bright young woman. What hasn't happened since I joined this site? I found my calling in life, and am now persuing it...

 

Dam!I dont even remember and iam still a sidekick.

 

I don't remember why I came to the Hype, probably followed a link for SM3. Since then I've gotten married, still have the same job (though looking for a new one), and the Wife and I are working on a little one.

 

I remeber now.I had a myspace,but i delit it because i know trouble was coming.Drama Trouble.So took it off.I had computer class and one of my freinds were on SHH.I had to join to get to know other people and what they like about comic books and movies and such.

 

2000: read about the hype, back when it was still spider-man hype in Wizard magazine, checked it out and stayed here
started a new job after five years in the same place
separated for the first time from my children's mother

2001 still at the new job
was back with my kids' mom

2002 changed jobs
finalized my separation
started dating again

2003 started a serious relationship that went to hell eight months later
self released album with my band and toured it

2004 got several half time teaching jobs here and there
kept touring
in a moment of weakness (and let's be honest horniness too) got my ex wife preggers
my youngest daughter is born

2005 start a relationship with a girl I had been friends for almost ten years
the band decides to write material for new album, but there's a lot of personal and creative tension amongst us and we play our last formal gig in december
start writing more new songs in a different vein to what we had been doing

2006 relationship becomes formal, we move in together and form a new band with my previous band's drummer
me and my girlfriend become vegetarians

2007 I propose
we buy a house and begin plans for getting married

2008 ???

February 2003- Attending college at ISU and living in the dorms with my brother. Working at Wal-Mart in the photo lab. Started reading about Brett Ratner being attached to the Superman movie. Read Moriarty's script review of JJ Abrams draft. Started lurking in the SHH boards in the Superman forum. Joined SHH forums and started my first thread about Jon Peters.

2004 - Still in college. Move into an apartment with two buddies from work. Same job.

2005 - Still in college. Same job.

2006 - Graduate from college with a degree in English. Move into a new apartment with best friend. Same job.

2007 - Move back home to save money on health insurance. Same job.

2008 - Quit crappy job. Build doomsday machine and enslave mankind. Move to giant castle full of hot supermodels.

 

2001 - extorted by mysterious Rastafarian robin hood figure in south America during sex tourism (not actual extortion but rather overpayment to pimps)

2002 -institutionalized for maladjustment and delusions

2003 - institutionalized for maladjustment and delusions

2004 - start taking meds to stay in college for extended time

2005 - confidential

2006 - (closed CIA records) unapproved "time cop" activity

2007 - attain cosmic spidey powers and free Cuba/Iran/Kurdistan via existential/gnostic/social experimentation

2008 - ????

2009 - confidential (unconfirmed tree of life branch/still speculative)

2010 - start calling self "War Machine" (reference to Jungian subconscious) and starts Angels of Anarchy motorcylcle gang with Grey Ghost alias

 

2010 is gonna be awesome.

2000 - Began reading more SHH as a live action Spider-Man movie was confirmed to be made. Graduated high school, single.

Feb 2001 - Began working in local radio. Joined the Hype to protest rumors of Faith Hill singing a romantic theme for the upcoming Spider-Man film, also to read more about the "organics" debate. lol

Summer '01 - My username immortalfire is altered, turning me into Immortalfire...capital I.

Winter '01 - I begin writing humorous skits involving Hype members. The subjects of said skits involved the Hype gang in things ranging from going on a cruise, camping, and even visiting Santa Claus' workshop! Still single.

2002 - My reason for being on SHH arrives, Spider-Man hits theaters to critical and fan acclaim, breaking old records, setting new ones, and becoming the biggest movie of the year. I loved the movie, and would see on the big screen twelve times.

Late 2002 to Early 2003 - Spider-Man Hype is transformed into Superhero Hype, with the impending release of other comic book icon movies. I talk with this one girl for awhile, but nothing ever comes of it. Thus, still single.

2003-2006 - Daredevil, Hulk, Punisher, and the Fantastic Four all get big screen treatment. Spider-Man gets a mega hit sequel, X-Men gets two sequels. Batman is rebooted, and Superman Returns. I nearly ask a girl out, but she disappears before I can do so.

Spring '07 to Present - I am hired as a forum moderator for the upcoming Spider-Man 3. Over the summer I'm promoted to a global mod for the Hype. Currently assigned to the Iron Man and Sports forums. Single.

2002: I was in High school. Had a job at a supermarket. Don't remenber how i found the Hype! but i was obviously searching for something comic book related. Read on for some weeks and finaly joined.

2003: Did bad in school. Quit Supermarket job.

2004: Same in school. Feel for some chick. Had good times. Bad times. Broke up messed around till end of high school.

2005: Graduated. Joined military. Group of friends did the same. Lack of computer resulted in just browsing the forums.

2006: Did a small deployment to the caribean. Missed oppourtunities.

2007: Got drivers liscence. Got car. Advanced. Still single after all this time......

 

2005 : I had gotten home two months ago and was living with my parents again (that sucked) . I started working at this horrible company that takes up all your time . I joined the hype boards to talk about X-men 3 and read spoilers . My parents internet connection was lousy so i stopped checking the hype for a long time .
2006: Still at same company but with a promotion. I had alot of money and no time to spend it , i was doing relatively well , got an apartment with my best friend . after seeing xmen i checked back but other than that stayed away , actually strated looking at spiderman 3 manips and stuff.
2007: I got shot at work in a robbery attempt. That gave me sometime off in august , so i was consistently on the internet , checked the community section and pretty much got hooked in to it .

 

A fat lady got shot at an airport and said it felt like someone hit her with a hot hammer.
