I also wondered how she knows what it feels like when you get hit with a hot hammer.

haha, it is a pretty odd comparison. I wish I saw this interview, a good reporter would have asked what the hell she was talking about.

Well, I had been surfing this site for a while until I finally joined in June '06. I was already married at the time with an 8 year-old step-daughter. I was living in the Atlanta area and working for a portrait company. All of that is still the same. The only thing that's really new is my wife and I welcomed our first child, a girl we named Annastasia Michelle, together into the world on 10/26 this year. (Some of you may remember I started a thread to brag about it.) And that's my Hype history.

2004
-Joined the Hype because I was looking for information pertaining to Batman Begins. I started posting shortly thereafter.
-Got into a heated, stupid and pointless argument over someone using a picture from Legions of Gotham. That was when I was 16 and trying to impress people who don't matter at all. The subsequent embarrassment kept me off the boards for a few months.
-Began my first relationship
-Attempted the "devoted Christian" thing; didn't work out too well.
-Had my first political debate with a moron in my history class. I discovered I loved proving that I was right, so I began considering an eventual foray into politics.

2005
-Aforementioned relationship comes to an end; I take a few months to "find myself," which includes keeping away from the internet.
-Joined my high school track team; sucked so bad I never considered joining another sport again.
-Wrote my first screenplay, because I was in love with film and wanted to become a screenwriter or a film producer
-Eventually, I return to my forum posting both here and at LOG

2006

-Graduated high school. Haven't looked back since.
-Became so involved in the 2006 election that I gave up my film major to pursue a degree in political science
-A stream of religious exploration brings me to Judaism; that didn't last long
-Posted a lot on SHH over the summer of 06, but college kept me off.

-I began working for assorted politicians and campaigns
-Began what I consider the greatest relationship in my life.
-Began posting at the Hype a bit more than I used to, but not a lot.
-Religious exploration brings me to Buddhism and Unitarian Universalism. I stuck with the latter, though I'm not sure if I'll stay with it.
-Had what I thought was going to be the worst semester ever. Turned out to be my best, academically.

2008
