I've seen quite a few people here including myself who weren't sure which Kubert is the new Batman artist, I was looking through Previews magazine and it is Andy Kubert, the alternate cover to Andy's first issue is done by Adam Kubert though.

I'm glad it is Andy, I like him better, their styles are alot alike but Andy is better, to me anyway.

I agree, I prefer Andy's artwork a bit more. His style has a slight resemblence to that of Jim Lee's.

Here are the two covers, incase anyone wanted to see them.

Andy's.

Adam's.

Hmmm...to compare the two artists I first want to see how Adam draws Batman's face (in that drawing you don't see how he draws the face). Because they both draw the rest of Batman pretty similar.

They both look awesome. Either way, us Bat-fans are in for a treat.

Oh ya definetly. They both draw really good just I was hoping to see more pictures of their art of Batman.

Check out the first Batman vs. Predator series for Andy Kubert's art, it's cool.

i prefer Andy's cover, and i can see what you mean about it being similiar to Jim Lee's work.
This year is going to be great for Batman comics :)

I'm a big fan of Jim Lee's art and both the Kubert's draw in a similiar style. After I read their Ultimate X-Men run I immediatly picked up Batman vs. Predator and everything else by them I could find.
I can't wait for Andy to draw Batman again, the wizard preview looks fantastic.

I hope it will be.

Don't they draw together? Or switch up? Or something?

Btw.....Picked up Ultimate Iron Man.....loved the artwork there. Andy Kubert should make an interesting Bat-artist.

They do that sometimes. For instance they alternated arcs on Ultimate X-men for a while and on Batman vs. Predator Andy did the pencilling while Adam did the inks.

Oh okay, that sounds pretty cool actually. Dynamic Duo Brothers.

I'm wondering.....they're working on Detective Comics or Batman later on this year?

They'll be working on Batman along with Morrison, the Detective Comics team will be Paul Dini helming writing duties while J.H. Williams III will be doing the penciling.

Oh okay, I thought so. So....it should be a hell of a summer for the Bat.

It's only Andy Kubert that's doing Batman with Morrison. According the credits from the Wizard preview he's inking it too.

Adam Kubert will do Superman with an unnamed writer, but he doesn't start for a while yet.

I know he is, the reason for the mentioning of Adam was do to the fact that he did the varient for issue #655. I really can't wait for this to begin in July.

What happened to Rags being on Detective?

Kubert and Morrison will be on the flagship title, BATMAN. 'TEC will be Dini's. I didn't hear anything about Rags being on 'TEC though.

Some are saying he looks like Jim Lee, not so. Their art is nothing alike.

Agreed. I have loved Andy's work in the Hulk, Wolverine and, X-men for years.

It is so great to finally have a talented artist in the pages of Batman once again. To finally see soemthing worthy of Batman. When I pay three bucks for a comic I don't wanna' see some scratchy B.S., I want to see something beautiful, that really jumps off the page. Sure Jim Lee did it for a bit, but that's been the only good art in Batman since Jim Aparo did it in the 90's.

Now if only Graham Nolan would come back. And Norm Breyfogle.

I think the problem as been the LACK of talent. Jim Lee is pretty much where it's at. @Jim Lee.........that's pretty much it. DC Comics has been riding him harder than the......well.....harder than something someone rides,....somewhere.

DC needs to get more artists in there and beef up the other titles. Get some regular people for christ's sake.......it's freakin' musical chairs. One story arc, and a creative team bails. And anyone that stays longer than one arc sucks.

Sigh.......things are a changin'.

When Dini was announced it was also announced that Rags Morales would be the penciler. Now DC has changed it and they will have rotating pencillers, with Rags doing a few issues and other guys doing other issues.

DC changed the penciller because Rags had some family problems and couldn't do all the issues. J.H. Williams III will now do the first three I think and then Rags Morales, Darwyn Cook and Tim Sale (and maybe someone else) will do the rest.
