Annihilation

Darthphere picks on the foes who are alrady down and beaten. Kipobe attacks abuse of power (as shown in his campaign thread). He is a TRUE inspiration.

If that's the case, then I'm qualified for the job. And we know nobody (especially me) wants me to be president. Though I'd be a better VP, because the VP is usually the evil, conniving one.

I'd rather have Harlekin be president. So I can make jokes, and argue him every time he turns around.

I wonder since Death seems to have taken back Thanos does that make him Death incarnate as well?

I like it when Thanos is dead. He typically has interesting stories that way. Some that I'm thinking of are his role in the Death of Captain Marvel, and in Spiderman 17 (90's volume). I'm curious what stuff will come from his death.

Overall, Annihilation was pretty awesome IMO. It is one of the best arcs I have read in a while. I went in not knowing too much about the space characters besides Galactus, Silver Surfer, and Super Skrull. The arc made me appreciate a whole knew cast of characters and told a darn good story at the same time.:xmen:

After having bought, and read all 6 back to back yesterday it made me remember why I liked comics so much before I quit reading them a few years ago (and why I'm reading them again now).

It had that classic feel, and Nova had it right when he said that those involved in CW seemed to forget how to be heroes. It also kind of makes me sad that space stories are so looked down on. This was a much larger scale story than CW, felt more like a superhero comic, the dialogue with a mix of humor and seriousness was great. A lot of ppl won't pick up anything not taking place on Earth tho, which isn't a knock because Earth stories seem more relevant and contains the most famous heroes. It's just that for how much was changed in this arc and how satisfying it was, it could have easily been much more prominent of an event.

Totally agree. Both those stories are great (not to mention some excellent Rick Leonardi artwork in Spidey #17). Thanos has an 'extra dimension' to his character when written this way imo.

I can't believe all 23 issues of Annihilation are finished before CW.

I'm pretty glad I read the whole thing. It was great, except for the mediocre Ronin arc.

The main mini was awesome though. Many awesome parts (like Galactus getting pissed off!).

Bring on the spin offs!

When does the Nova on-going kick off? +1 purchase confirmed.

The Ronin arc is actually the only part of Annihilation that I did not read. I picked up the first issue, but it didn't grab my attention like the others.:xmen:

I just read all of this series.

It was beautiful.

I can't believe that while the heroes of Earth were busy sucking at their jobs, all this epic badassery from real heroes was going on in space.

I'm so sad, I got up to issue numbre three and then I missed out on 4 and 5 and Don't know if I'll be able to get six. I know I'll by it on trade paper back

They're also going to release two oversized hardbacks with everything in them from Drax through the Heralds aftermath issues following Annihilation. I'm planning on getting those.

Indeed.

I think Nova's transformation would suprise alot of heroes back home.

Maybe even shame them a little.

Yeah, that was a cool line that the King used though.

Yellow Jacket: "You have to choose sides. You have to register.

King Eternal: "If you saw two groups of children arguing over which of them could play in some waste ground, would you choose sides?"

HA!

Planet Hulk and Annihilation rock CW!

Annihilation was so awsome.kinda sad to see it's over. But what an end it was.
