Annihilation

SO silver surfer #3 came out already? I think I missed it damnit!

Ok, how do you get that spoiler thing to appear?..... I just read Silver Surfer #3 and.......... OMG!
( I guess I had a copy of Silver Surfer #3 after all, it was in the middle of my lastest new comic purchases pile!)

Ok, its official, Mavel has the best cosmic/space type characters out there.... this story is really getting interesting.... I hope they have some sort of follow up or mini after this...... its great so far! All this cosmic goodness makes me MISS Starlins Warlock & Captain Mar-vel!

SS #3 is by FAR the best issue of the whole series. Sure, the events in Civil War will change the earth forever, but if things keep heading in the direction they are heading in Annihilation, the whole UNIVERSE will be affected and possibly beyond.

I also loved SS #3. And I can't wait for the next issue. This whole event is enjoyable to me, though as others have said, Ronan is a little weak.

A little weak, but still entertaining. It needs a better connection to the Annihilation invasion though.

Well, everything else is directly tied to the Annihilation wave. Ronan's going after people who got him in trouble and that's it. We hear a little mention of the wave, but that's it. I'm thinking that it hasn't hit him yet and will at the end of the mini, but still, it doesn't seem to focus on it a lot.

The actual Annihilation mini is about to start, figured I'd bump this for anyone who wants to talk about it. Thus far I say Nova's been the best mini, and even though I hate that Quasar died, I was never big on the character and he had a heroic death, so it's cool.

Yeah, Nova is by far the best one and my favorite.
Quasar probably won't stay dead, probably return when or if Annhilus dies.

Giffen talks Annihilation

Andrea Di Vito will pencil the six issue miniseries. So count me in for that series. I was really impressed with his work on The Thing.

That preview is pure awesome-ness defined...

THIS is COMICS DONE RIGHT!!

Thank god for this giffen and his series to reaffirm that Marvel isnt totally in left field...

is that NOVA or NICK FURY!!??

(I know it is Nova , just a joke)

The preview looks great. Andrea DiVito's at his best on cosmic stories.

It's kind of weird after all of the individual minis to see the characters in the same book. I'm sure I'll adjust, my mind just locked onto Nova since he's the first major character I saw and then got confused when Ronan showed up. :)

The only thing that sucks is that Super-Skrull is already dead. :(

Man, I really love what they've done with Nova. Battle has changed him into one hell of a warrior. A leader. This is gonna be great. I can't wait.

I really want to see a post-Annihilation story where the newly hardcore Nova returns to Earth to find his fellow New Warriors persecuted in the midst of Civil War. Knowing Marvel, however, it's probably too much to hope for. :(

I figure Civil War will be over by the time he gets back. It would be interesting to see how he takes the death of his friends and everything. I mean, the guys been through enough already, and I gotta figure that by the end of the series he's gonna have gone through even more. To come back and find out that a good chunk of your friends are now dead, and branded criminals? The guys liable to go postal.

From just his annihilation mini I think Nova deserves a comic. Bring back A Man called NOVA.

To be honest i dont see him coming back to Earth for a LONG time.
With the whole Xandar worldmind and what not and his becoming the leader of the entire opposing military to the annihilation wave (which is basically a good part of EVERY species). His mission to restore xandar is a long term kinda thing.

Meh, it's okay. Space is a big place. There's plenty of room for really interesting stories for him. With a little imagination they can avoid earth indeffinitely and still make great comics.

This mini looks really neat I enjoy space things and sense I have money now I can pick it up. So could anyone fill me in on what happened in the other minis.

I still think it would be interesting to see his reaction to losing all his old teammates.

I'm very disapointed what they did to Quasar, in reality it should have been him to drain...oh nevermind.
