3 but the scenes are pretty lengthy so it evens out

Can anyone who's read the script tell me if there's going to be any comic relief in TIH and, if there is, where it comes from? It's not a major concern, but I tend to worry that this movie will register with people in much the same way as Ang's Hulk did - as being too heavy. And from the trailer, I don't deduce that any of the main actors are particularly skilled at humor or that the script even allows for it. The opening one-on-one conversation between Samson and Banner is as serious as a heart attack. Betty is a mute. The Leader dude seems a little bit whacky... but not funny. And General Ross speaks one line that only heightens the tension. I suppose the one military dude who reacts with "What the hell was that?!" to A-bomb also deserves honorable mention... but then, he's not exactly funny either.
Or am I just in left field for even wanting humor? I guess I'm looking at other successful movies of late and hoping TIH follows their lead. In Transformers, for example, whether you loved it or hated it, the improv acting greatly lent some much-needed comic relief and it really seemed to resonate with people. And in other comic book movies, you have the geeky-ness of Toby Maguire, the nerdiness of Brandon Routh, the charm of Christian Bale, the sarcasm of Robert Downey Jr. and the sharp wit of Ron Perlman to provide balance to the stress of the tasks at hand. Heck, even Hugh Jackman can be funny when a well placed line of humor contrasts with his tough-guy image. But I'm looking over the cast of TIH actors and I just don't see it.
Is Norton or anyone else even capable of making us laugh? Did they go overboard with the degree of seriousness they were going for? They've said they were going for Batman Begins, in terms of an approach, and that they wanted more smash... but from the trailer, I gather that it's ONLY smash and/or seriousness, which, I'm sorry, I don't think the masses will enjoy a whole lot.
i heard that the hulk scenes are lengthy.I have heard the movie is based on this script which is fine with me.
But i was expecting more than just 3 transformations in the movie.
How many action scenes are there in the movie? I mean hulk action.

So does Hulk say anything in it or what? At least Hulk Smash?

I sent you a PM.
From what I've read...yes, there is humor. In the right spots too.
Well, if he transforms three times, then it stands to reason that there will be three scenes of Hulk action.
sounds goodThere's quite a large number of hulk scenes in the movieWe have the very beginning of the movie where banner tries to blow his own brains out, the factory fight, the college campus fight, a scene set in a cave with betty and hulk, the final fight as well as various flashes of hulk in flashbacks
I want to ask you everyone will we see the full power of hulks regeneration i mean no just a scratch which regenerates but lets say a huge wound that will regenerate in seconds?
Well, it only took just under a week, but glad someone cared to reply. Thanks and back at'cha.
Thank you also. Can you elaborate more on who makes for the humor? I just can't see Norton being funny.
Sup JJ, yeah, this movie will have its quips, I just never wanted to be like FF2 where it was so over done with jokes it ruined the movie.**SPOILER**
There's a scene where a guard tells Banner, "SIT DOWN" and Banner replies, "Shoot me...let's see what happens."
During Hulk and Abomb's battle there's little quips by civilians like a mom telling her child, "See honey, this is why I tell you never to go past 82nd street."
Betty and Banner are in a cab and Betty gets mad at the cabbie...they get out and Banner tells her, "You know, I think I've got some anger management techniques that could help you."
There's others too but I can't recall them at this point.

I think this will be a well paced and pretty balanced movie. Not too full of itself like the other five years ago.what's up man...yeah...I agree.
