Answering script questions: DO NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPOIL THE WHOLE MOVIE

But. We. Can't. Resist.

Must. Spoil. Ourselves!!!!!!!!!

I spoiled SM3 for myself, and ultimately it didn't really matter. The same goes for Transformers. Scripts are words on paper until someone realizes them on the big screen with multiple talents. Until then, it's just facts.

DO NOT OPEN THIS THREAD IF YOU DON'T WANT THE ENTIRE MOVIE RUINED FOR YOU A YEAR IN ADVANCE.

It's so much more fun going into the movie and not knowing everything and every detail of each scene. I prefer knowing just the basic premise and that's it. That's why I'm not reading any of this. Why am I here now?

Bye.

I will stop at the request of Advanced_Dark. :yay:

No!!!!!!!!! We need you to survive, Gotham!!!!!! :woot:

I will stop at the request of Advanced_Dark. :yay:

LOL I'm not asking you to stop. Just before people read this stuff they should stop and think. Do you want to know every bit about this movie before seeing it on screen? Or do you want to be surprised. Hell the set videos spoiled enough for me already. LOL

I'm still posting here but I haven't read a thing. The second I saw an answer to a question I scrolled down to pass it up.

Dum-dum-DUUUM!

Meh. I think Gotham's speaking the truth. Too many facts, certain disappointments...it sounds genuine. Though, to be fair we really have no idea what they'll add in after the fact.

you name a single fight that lasts for 10 minutes and i'll shake your hand...

What about the final fight between Blade and Deacon Frost and his minions in the first Blade movie? That seemed pretty long.

X-Men vs The Brotherhood on Ellis Island seemed like a long fight as well....

Spider-Man vs Green Goblin; final battle at the bridge and continuing on to the deserted warehouse (or whatever)...

Hulk vs the army? From the time Hulk broke out of Gamma base, all across the desert? That HAD to be 10 minutes...

I know but this is too much info here. I'm not reading it. Go away. Not reading!

I will stop at the request of Advanced_Dark.

AMEN and THANK YOU!

Gotham was doing just fine with the hidden spoilers, I thought, but along comes a few loons who phrase their questions such that Gotham's spoilers are revealed. I mean, WTF??

HAVE SOME SENSE PEOPLE! :whatever: :cmad: :cmad:

There's a line, isn't there?! Why the f*** do you ask about the meatiest details?! Are you that da**ed impatient that you can't wait for the movie? And don't go telling me "It's a spoilers forum, etc. etc." because YOU KNOW we're reading these forums with the built-in trust system that others won't RUIN IT for the rest of us(!). Get a clue!!

:cmad: :hulk: :cmad:

If Gotham really wanted to hide them, he knows how to use the spoiler button. Don't throw a fit over it.

Gotham, does the script describe Banner's eyes flashing/glowing green when he transforms into the Hulk?

that would be soooooo cool to see on screen ( wasn't really used in the 1st one........:( ).

thanks again.

My point precisely. Gotham HAS BEEN using the spoiler button, but some of the follow-up questions are phrased such that the spoilers are revealed(!). Or so it seems. Like AD, I'm not reading the hidden spoilers or trying to find out too much in general, but when the follow-up questions' phrasing all but completely reveal the spoilers, I'm helpless against them. But why the hell do you have to know everything anyway? Excercise some restraint already!

well, I suppose some of us like to find out more about what's in the movie.......so we have an idea of what to expect.......and whether or not it warrants our further attention......

Again, nobody put a gun up to his head and told him he'd be eating lead unless he posted this. It's logical deduction that when someone claims to have a script there are going to be 3 out of 5 users calling for proof that it's not BS. Ultimately, you will be spoiled. That's not a comment about the entire board, just logical reasoning when it comes to script review threads (especially a year in advance).

People want to know. The worst that happens is that something really rubs people the wrong way, and I doubt a thread on a specific script spoiler would survive long enough here to be much of an irritance.

Yes. His eyes do glow green at one point.

thanks, Gotham!!!

man.......if they do that right........that would look wicked on screen!!!!

when you see the eyes flash green........y'know the monster wants to play!!!

Oh, NOW I understand. :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :cmad:

Yeah, questions like this

I don't like the notion that Hulk will kill Abomination, does this have anything provoking the fight?

as followed by comments like this

So he just kills the Abomination, no one else? I can deal with that.

are completely necessary to one's "having an idea of what to expect"???

PLEASE.

I mean, are you mental?! Why the hell are you posting here if you didn't already know, like 5 million years ago, that EVERY BATTLE has a precursor?!

"Does this have anything provoking the fight?"

Unreal. You should be banished for life from all comic-book forums for that question.

 What part of the thread title that says "Advanced_Dark can vouch for me" can't you read?? I mean, some people come around and have the quality of being a tad suspect, but jeeeeeez, this one's spelled out in the HEADLINE for you!! And it's not like the answers weren't trickling out ALL DAY. We're what, 5 pages into this thread, and you're still wondering if he's a credible source??

Unbelievable...

[blackout]Seems like the movie does make a homage to the TV series at one point, despite the obviousness of the entire "on the run" issue (though that was in the comics way beforehand).[/blackout]

No. Hulk doesn't speak at all and the same applies for Abomination.

The fact that the Hulk does not talk is upsetting to me, that is what gives him his human element and makes him less a monster. To have him and Abomination not speak is going away from the comic and leaning more toward the tv series, everything elese seems fine.

I agree. This stinks. I want a speaking Hulk. He doesn't have to say much but wht he says should have an impact. Again this is leading me to believe they have not understood the core of the character and are focusing on anger and rage again.

ummm...Bannerless Hulk.......

I hope you weren't referring to me in your post. I, for one, DID NOT ask those questions about the Hulk/Abomination fight. My questions have been mainly about the tone of the movie, as well as some minor plot points......

Also, I said that I SUPPOSE some ppl, like myself, want to find out more details about the movie........before we waste time seeing the movie. I mean, if there's something in the movie that I'm really going to disagree with.......I would rather find that out EARLY ON.......ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE IS OFFERING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTION ABOUT THE SCRIPT.

I can't speak for anyone else on the board, of course. I'm just voicing my own opinions.

Also, some ppl are just naturally curious.

Finally, this IS the SPOILERS section of the Hulk board. And, this thread is about ANY QUESTIONS about the script.

If you are the type of person who doesn't want to be spoiled, then please don't visit an area where spoilers are bound to be posted.

He's talking about me. Let him vent as much as he wants...the second I saw he was just out to be belligerent in the last post, I gave up on reasonable conversation.

Nope. Just differences between my opinion on spoilers and Bannerless Hulk's.

EDIT: What made the Hesleigh (sp?) script so bad?

He's talking about me. Let him vent as much as he wants...the second I saw he was just out to be belligerent in the last post, I gave up on reasonable conversation.

I'd rather be belligerent than disingenuous. But keep it up... you're good at it.

super-bats, I was referring to whomever it applies. I'm fine with people asking questions... I'm not a moderator... but when it goes beyond just "finding out" for constructive purposes as to whether you'll see the movie and ventures into the realm of idiocy, I think that that's crossing the line and people should some exercise some restraint. I mean, act like an adult or a fan - either of those two options are good in most cases - but questions like, "What occurs after the battle with the Abomination?" can only be asked for purely selfish reasons. Come on, do we really need to know that? PM the freaking guy already Chibi! Jeez, if you really want to know everything, ask the people in-the-know. They have the scripts themselves. AD is one of them, and EB does also. This isn't rocket science!
