Now that IW is out of the way I'm expecting the first trailer for this to drop next month. If Disney/Marvel follow the same strategy as the last movie it should be coming out in early January, but I can see them waiting a little longer so that it's closer to BP's release, so maybe mid-late January at the latest.

But it being after kind of adds to the mystery of what happen to him. I think the GA now will recognize that he is missing after CW. Falcon will probably mention not being able to contact him. I know I am going to be interested in why he is not there, guessing something major happens in this movie.

I'd expect his absence to be addressed somewhere in the film, yeah.

I read somewhere that on the last convention they showed concept art for Ant-Man and the Wasp, have those being leaked? I can't find them anywhere, with the exception of that great poster.

Next, the presentation continued which showcased various concept art from Ant-Man and The Wasp. First, we have our first look at Hope van Dyne in action. It shows the Wasp flying up to a ledge and looking down. Next, audiences saw a tiny Ant-Man riding on a little girl’s backpack—presumably his daughter’s. However, the biggest reveal showed Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) wearing his own superhero suit. Finally, a pre-visual effect sequence was shown. This scene showed a car chase between a van and another car. The van proceeded to shrink and drive underneath another car. All of a sudden, the van grows to a normal size which flips and disables the car. Suddenly, we see Giant-Man peeking out of an alleyway.

Yes, I remember that descripton but I never found anything leaked. Don't tell anyone, but I'm a bit more interested in this film than Infinity War. We pretty much know what we're gonna get on that one, but the creativity and the visuals they can come up with this Ant-Man concept is much more appealing to me.

Probably late January to early Feb. but it depends on when they plan on dropping the second IW trailer.

Me too! Seems like this is the least talked about MCU film that's on the docket. We obviously hear about IW and BP (rightfully so) but nothing much about this just yet. From that description posted sounds like it could be pretty sweet!

According to some Russian website, Ant-Man and the Wasp could be a rom-com of sorts. Scott and Hope power couple t:

If Ant-Man and the Wasp does indeed offer a rom-com twist to its superhero story, then it would indeed be the first romantic-comedy from Marvel. The previous films have skirted the genre with meet-cutes between its heroes and love interest like Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger or the crackling His Girl Friday-lite chemistry between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in Iron Man, but never has a Marvel film dived fully into the genre

Rudd is the only actor I watch in rom-com I usually hate the genre. Good thing Rudd, is Ant-Man so I will probably love the approach if that is part of the movie.

Plus whoever said that they will probably release this trailer to tie it with Black Panther's theatrical release it makes so much more sense to do that especially with Infinity War being tied to it which is also a given but at the same time the Ant Man & Wasp trailer I would say it definitely needs to come out by the end of this month

That's normally what happens. It gets released online and then will be attached to movies playing in cinemas.

If this film is supposed to take place before Infinity War then it would have made much more sense to release this film before Infinity War because this film doesn't even come out until July like really
