Does anyone else feel like we're entering an age of whinging?
Or are complainers just getting more attention due to the increased media presence in the world?

I really feel like people are getting much too sensitive about some things and I say this as a former fat kid who lost the weight through proper diet and exercise.

I like how they get to be offended by a sign, but I don't get to be offended by their fat f***ing bodies causing my insurance premiums to go up, or how they end up creating a bane upon our culture by contributing to a lazy, unproductive workforce. I am so not offended by that at all.

I mean, tough. Get over it. Obesity is becoming more and more common in this country and we need to do whatever we can to stop it in its tracks. If a few fat kids are angry about it, they can be angry amongst themselves. But for people who might find this information useful, who might be motivated to get off their ass and run around outside, this is essential.

It disgusts me how people eat and lie around all day, yet feel as if I should feel sorry for them. Meanwhile I busted my ass running two miles on an elliptical and lifting more weight than I probably should to stay below a certain weight... someone needs to get out the world's smallest violin...

I recently saw a video about this girl. She ballooned to 400lbs around age 7 but got into an obesity clinic and dropped to 140lbs at the time of segment. She still has some rehab to do on her legs but it looks like she's on the road to a healthy life.

Sure there are fat people out there that just go on over eating binges but did it ever dawn on you that MANY of our modern medications cause extreme weight gain? I have sympathy for those people who could not help the weight gain because if they step in this thread and see a bafoon make statements such as yours it just might hurt a little. I myself have been on medication that caused me to gain 35-40 lbs in ONE MONTH.

Now you tell me that was from just eating out all the time. Nope. And with our country being so dependant on pills for every little thing, why don't we place some of the blame on the pill companies? Oh, it's easier to pick on a fat kid who either can't help it or eats because he already has low self esteem. Let's make him feel worse...maybe that'll cure him...or wow...maybe he'll eat more.

Get a life. And stop being so damn cruel.

And for the record, I lost all of that weight and then some because I refused to take the meds after that.
