Anubis' "How would you do it?" Thread.

I'm still working on my idea for a comic series based on Reed Richards' dad, Nathaniel. All I've got so far is that, plot wise, it's very much like Doctor Who, albeit if The Doctor had the sense of morality of Dr. Doom and the sex drive of Sean Connery, and that his "companions" are a teenage girl named Chealsea who wants to eventually become a mad scientist, Hollywood, the future version of Wonder Man from Guardians of the Galaxy, and the ghost of Agatha Harkness. Oh, and at one point they fight a super villain team composed entirely of alternate versions of Kang.

I do believe I like that idea. In fact, I believe it rocks so hard it's upside-down.

Pantheon of 5 gods, Agis (Speed, justice, duty), Miolin (Wisdom, judgement, knowledge), Rahs (Strength, loyalty, mercy), Zoken (Dreams, imagination, humanity, trickery), Raivox (Destruction, cruelty, evil).

The first three sit as gate keepers of the way to Nir'Taan, the peaceful afterlife. The fifth stands as the prison guard of Lis'Taan, the unhappy afterlife. When a soul dies they go before The three and are judged by Miolin with Agis arguing against them, and Rahs arguing for them. Should Miolin find them worthy, they may enter. Should she find against them they are sentanced to imprisonment in Lis'Taan.

The fourth, Zoken, is the only of them who chooses to frequent the mortal realm, as he is, afterall, the god of humanity. In his trickster ways he decides to play a joke on the hardest of any to fool: Miolin and Raivox. He gives them graphic dreams of each other. Neither is pleased. With Raivox petition and Miolin's eagerness, they are able to convince Agis and Rahs to punish Zoken for his abuse of his powers. So they force him, not just to remain on earth, but to become a human. He is made to be born a human with no memory of his true nature. He grows up Scott Steel, a hopeless dreamer and comic-junkie. Only as he comes of age does he begin to discover the powers sealed inside of him.

You see, while they were able to seal Zoken's mind completely, sealing his powers was more difficult. and opening his powers also leads to the opening of his memories.

Thanks. I'm thinking that one sub plot would be about foreshadowing of and seeing this all powerful cosmic super hero from millions of years in the future who's a messiah like figure in that time and has created peace and prosperity throughout the universe, who is also a future version of a pre-existing marvel character. While it would never be stated, there would be hints given, one of the big ones being that he's from Earth and was once human, and the six possible candidates would be Nathaniel Richards (since the book's about him), Reed Richards (which would give Nate reason to look in on him, Dr. Doom (because it would be kind of ironic), Kang, (same reason as Doom), Mr. Immortal (since he already has some vaguely defined, crazy cosmic destiny thing going on), and Deadpool (because it would be funny).

My vote is for Mr. I, and not just because I'm biased. We're talking millions of years in the future. Neither Doom nor Reed will last that long (Doom, for as badass as he is is stull human), Kang I just can't imagine as a goody-two shoes, unless perhaps it involves recovered memories from his Iron-Lad day period, Deadpool... too weird for words, Nathaniel, okay that could work, but Mr. I as this said leader of a now peaceful world. A man who must have watched every thing he loved shatter and die a thousand times over.

Plus, a clumsy goof like Craig becoming a super messiah is pretty cool. I was just putting forth Reed and Doom as possibilities because it fits, you know? If any Earthman were to become some cosmic super hero who created world peace and stuff, you'd kind of expect it to be one of them. But it'd more likely be Craig or Deadpool because it's more out of left field. You'd never expect the leader and founder of the Great Lakes Avengers or someone as crazy as Deadpool to be the new Jesus.

Actually, Craig is an Olypic level gymnast, he's not clumsy, just not very well known.

Really? He always seems to be receiving easily avoidable injuries that he should avoid because, while they don't kill him for keeps, they to stop him long enough for the bad guy to get away.

That's because he's suicidal!

In his premier they show him swinging in. He's shown he's got great agility.

It maybe that he wants to die, or it may be that he knows it won't really kill him. either way though. Physically, he's very graceful, I think his clumsiness comes in how he acts, how he tries to be a hero. They really showed that at the end of the Missassembled arc, where he was trying to figure out "What would Cap do? What would Hawkeye do?" Really he needs to find out "What would Craig Hollis do?" because he's a good guy with a great heart.

Good point. But still, that's also kind of my point. To everyone else, he comes off as a clumsy, incompitant goofball. Who'd ever expect him to become some future cosmic messiah?

Agreed. I had an idea for the Exiles that involved him.

It involved the Exiles recruiting a massive amount of new members and forming multiple teams, so multiple missions could be conducted at once.

Exiles: Lead by Blink, with Morph, Sabertooth, Spider-Man (2099) and Long Shot. A parapeligic Thunderbird would be their handler (who monitored their mission from the Panoptichron)

Fantastic Four: each would be from a world where they all got the same powers (a what if comic) Ben Grimm with stretching, Sue Storm with torch, and Johnny Storm who looks like silver age Thing. Also on the team would be Vi-Lock world Spider-Woman (Mary-Jane), and their handler would be Reed from a world where he can make things invisible. Lots of issues on this team: Ben was left by his worlds Sue, his wife, who took their kids. Sue and her team accidently killed two little girls and she since joined the convent, Johnny's sister was transformed into, basically, a man-thing and then killed by Reed, who was in turn killed by his Ben, who died from wounds sustained. And Reed is a creepy spy who may or may not have intentions to Sue.

Bruisers: lead by Betsy Braddock who possesses the Juggy armor in addition to her normal powers, with Rick Jones Hulk, Molly Hayes, a Shang-Chi from a universe where he possesses the phoenix force. Their handler is a legless Thunderbolt Ross, who lost his daughter to one of his hulk's rampages.

X-Men: Lead by Scott summers from a reality where the X-Men are nothing but a band, Boom-Boom from X-Men Evolution, Nightcrawler who really did become a priest and is very happy about it thank you very much, "Lorna" (read femal Pietro) who is desperate for approval and treats Scott as both love interest and father figure. Their Handler is Cypher, from a universe that is actually utopian and no longer violent (guy was bored to tears). this Scott Summers, it should be mentioned, recieves a guitar made from uru after breaking his old one over Loki's head. The new one has enchantments on it Scott hasn't even figured out yet.

Weapon X: Lead by The Immortal (A Craig Hollis from a universe that is pretty much circling the drain only half-a-million years away from ending), with a green Mystique, a Taskmaster (From a world where all powers are less impressive than his), and often, Sabertooth. Their missions are always "morally Gray". For instance, in one mission they must assassinate Black Panther and make it look like it was agents of Latveria.

I also want to build "Infinity" and "Inhuman" teams for cosmic level events and non-earth events.

I also wanted to line up some enemies organized and reality hopping like them: Goblyn Queen, Evil Cloak, Bad Silver Surfer, all lead by an Alex Wilder.

Not bad.

Ooh. I had an idea that's sort of an add on to my future cosmic messiah one: Future Craig has sort of an evil counterpart, an all powerful cosmic entity like him who is completely insane and basically a creature of pur Id, his every action dictated by even the slightest of whims. He's also obsessed with Craig, and refers to him as a "brother," implying that he is also originally from Earth. The implication is that he is a possible future version of Reed Richards, who gained vast cosmic powers and eventually went insane for some reason that I won't bother to explain because I'm lazy. It's probably something like his entire family line being wiped out, or him gaining ultimate knowledge and not being able to handle it, or something.

How about it's wolverine instead? He's had cosmic powers before, pluse he's already almost entirely Id. He got cosmic powers... which included cosmic awareness, and the ultimate knowledge of all things that had ever been (too much memory for a guy used to not having any... also kind of a parody of him always getting bits and peices back). He went cukoo and now he's a thorn in Craig's side. But as a grand-galactic Messiah, Craig has other people to deal with annoyances like "Remos"... namely Deadpool.

Logan isn't a bad idea. I just think it'd be interesting if you took Reed, the most likely candidate for Space Christ, to in fact be Space Anti-Christ. Besides, if I were writing Logan's life story, I'd have him go out Alamo style long before Craig became Space Jesus.

I just dislike Wolverine, so I figure since he has to make an obligitory guest appearance, let him be not only the villain, but pale shadow of his former self. But again, I ask, why would Reed survive that long?

I don't know. Does it really matter? Anything could have happened in that streach of time. Especially when you've got the power cosmic on your side.

New Marvel... I don't know, I guess somewhere between "heroes Reborn" and "Just Imagine"....

Avengers

Captain America: The One Man Army. The core attitude remains the same. he's a U.S. Army soldier who was experimented on, but not during WWII, recently. One of the first Meta-humans. he has the power to make up to fifty copies of himself. His battle cry is "E Unis Plurum!" In one, many.

Hawkeye: Winged Archer. with the wings, eyes, and ears of a hawk, He is a mysterious force to be reckoned with. Wears a purple cloak to hide his wings.

Thor: The Odin Son. A bit more traditional Norse God. Big, red beard and hair. Thick burly muscles with traditional armor and gloves. Cantankerous, hot headed, and always ready to die for his cause. (Think Gimbly from LotR)

Wasp: Robotics expert. Often understimated in combat her robotic wings and armor make her a powerful fighter.

Ant-Man: the living Colony. Imagine Swarm, but with ants. He was created by Dr. Pym as a new sort of defense program. controlled by a small super-computer within the living colony, it is self aware and refers to Dr. Pym as "Father".

Hulk: the Man-Monster. Among the earlies recorded meta-humans, serial killer Robert Banner was sentenced to life, that is until he was confronted by Psychologist Betsy Ross, who specialized in behavior modification. Now, going by his middle name, Bruce, his psychosis is held at bay with mind-control. Bruce knows all of this, however he finds that transforming into his enormous muscular alter-ego eats away at the barriers his therapist, and crush, put in place.

Scarlett Witch: The Vishanti's Vixen. No mutant powers in her, just a sorceress with an affinity for the color red, and a dedication to her twin brother.

Quicksilver: Lightspeed Mutant. His silver-colored skin and ability to move at near the speed of light make him a powerful mutant. He was a follower of Magneto, the mutant terrorist, until he discovered his long-lost twin sister alive, and not a mutant.

Spider-man: Peter Parker thought he was fairly normal, until he reached puberty and strange powers started emerging. He thought at first he was a mutant, but a quick test in his laboratory basement showed he lacked the X-Gene. Now he possess super-human strength, agility, and hightened senses. he found out that he was, in fact, the product of a rape. His mother was raped by Norman Osborn, who bought his way out of any trouble. Even more disturbing is that Peter's only friend is Harry Osborn, his half brother. Encouraged to keep a cool head by his Uncle Ben (who didn't know of Peter's powers) Peter confronts his biological father only to find out that Norman expected him to have powers. You see, Norman performed an experiment on himself in his younger years which enhanced his mind and his body. He was already a sociopath.

Taking his name from his pet tarantula, Ben, Spider-Man is Peter's desperate attempt not to turn into a his biological father, not to be the psychotic monster Norman osborne is.

More as I think of them.

More of this re-written universe.

Dr. Strange: Sorcerer... Mediocre? When Stephan Strange's hands were damaged in a drunk driving accident he becomes a researcher and teacher. He starts to lead the medical community. However, one day he says the wrong thing to the wrong person and angers his Cheif of Medicine. As retribution, the man puts Strange on what he assumes will be a waste of time and money, but forces Strange to do it anyway. he is gracious enough, however, to give Strange one Intern; Wong Kamar-Taj, a sour young man as insulted to be working with Strange as Strange is to be on this assignment.

The assignment is to find out if there are any SCIENTIFIC basis for alternate healing. Strange, insulted by the thought of researching accupuncture and "New Age Crap" decides to really embarass the hospital by researching sorcery. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, his ex-wife Clea sends him an amulet to get him started. A beautiful gold and platinum circle with an eye... and so the odd journey of Dr. Strange begins.

Fantastic Four: Or Three Plus One. Susan, Ben, and Johnny are transformed by a mismade batch of Super-Soldier Serum (originally created by Prof. Reed Richards in 1938 for James "Bucky" Buchannon, the now Late first Captain America). This batch was made by Dr. Victor Von Doom, who claims the title of Smartest Man Alive. When the formula marrs all three of them (Johnny and Sue are stuck as burning and invisible respectively, Ben is a wirey beast made of blood red rock, and Victor blames the Test subjects (mocking them in fact), he is dismissed and the title is taken. They then reveal that the original creator of the formula did not die from a brain tumor in 1968, as was believed. he was cryogenically frozen in a machine of his own design. Until a doctor existed that could perform the operation he also designed to cure his brain tumor (not his design). He was thawed (According to directions on his tube) and cured by a robot (named Herbie, because the inventor had a thing for those car movies). And he got to work on the three.

He was unable to cure them, so far. He did, however, managed to create a suit for sue that made her visible (But completely canceled out her powers in doing so), and a suit for Johnny that could release and control his flames according to a voice activated modulator. Ben he was most unable to help, which may be why they bonded so well. Both feel they let the other down.

Victor, insulted, blames Richards for the firing. He is not a happy man, and he is a brilliant man... this is a bad combination.

The Chronoline Temporal Cruiser: A man prepared to take his own life his blinded by a flash of light. he sees the outlines of two people facing away from him, ringed by a strange luminescence. From this hole in space a small device comes flying at him. It is a personal time machine, manufactured in the 37th century by the Chronoline Co., a subsidiary of Realityworks. Seeing nothing here for himself, he travels to the future, mainly to see how the rather poorly worn time machine came to be in his possession. This leads him on a strange journey that will put him as the leader of an unlikely army, the lover of a rather beautiful woman, and the hero of all existance.

You know, generally, I think this thread is supposed to be about how you'd handle pre-existing properties/universes/characters.

THE CIRCLE

What can I say? Q's MI13 idea inspired me to think about a new team, a team ready to take on the supernatural. A sort of Nightstalkers/Midnight Sons thing, but different. One could say that this team is a bit more geared to the mainstream. B-list characters coming together under the auspices of A-lister Dr. Strange to save the world from the occult forces that may menace it. They do not work together in the usual team structure, but instead come together when called by Dr. Strange. As such, it will sometimes happen that one of the members will be unable to show up, citing other activities or simply not being able to make it to the rendezvous point in time (usually Dr. Strange's Sanctum Sanctorem).

docstrangevr2.jpg

DOCTOR STRANGE, SORCERER SUPREME
Redemption is a *****, and I don't really know what Strange needed atoning for, but he's tamed that *****. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about; Dr. Strange is off the (New) Avengers. He already has to juggle Night Nurse with his duties as magical defender of the universe without needing to be an Avenger too. That's exactly why he has this team. The Defenders are raw unbridled power. The Circle is more subtle, more discrete. A powerful tool to be implemented by one of the greatest neurosurgeons the world ever saw. Because of his immense power, and the nature of the group, he'd mostly appear in his astral form. After all, he always has more important business to attend to.

capbritaindk7.jpg

CAPTAIN BRITAIN, DEFENDER OF OTHERWORLD
Who fits more on this team than the former King of Otherworld, agent of Merlyn and part of the greater Captain Britain Corps? Well, nobody but Brian Braddock of course. Of course, Braddock has quite a few obligations, most notably the group (New) Excalibur, so he can't be around for every adventure, but he's a mainstay when the team has to act on the British Isles and areas near. He's easily the physically strongest of the team, which means that when he's around, there'll be room for some good old slugfests, rather than just magic blasts going back-and-forth.

blackknightyf0.jpg

BLACK KNIGHT, PROTECTOR OF THE REALM
Dane Whitman is one of the more consistent members of this team. He no longer runs with the Avengers, and Heroes for Hire has been done for a while now too. Basically, he's got nowhere to go. The Knight performs an important role on the team. Occult and scientific expert and de facto leader in the case Strange gets taken out or is otherwise not present. Besides that, he has quite a few resources and is a deft hand-to-hand combatant. If somebody like Captain Britain is the team's powerhouse, the Black Knight is their jack of all trades.

magikkf4.jpg

MAGIK, LORD OF LIMBO
You don't hear a lot about this little lady. At least, not the Magik we're using here, namely Amanda Sefton, formerly Daytripper of Excalibur. She serves the simple role of powerful magician with impressive teleportation abilities, similar to the original Magik's role in the New Mutants. Not necessarily a slight towards Amanda, but I do not find her the most interesting person on the team, so she's mostly there for practical purposes. She also provides a neat link to the X-Men, so we could have somebody like Nightcrawler cameo. She'd be a rather consistent member of the team, but an unpredictable one as well. Her predecessor had great control over the Limbo realm, but this Magik is not quite there yet, so she'll disappear from time to time unexpectedly.

ironfistky1.jpg

IRON FIST, IMMORTAL CHAMPION OF K'UN L'UN
Least consistent member of the team, without a doubt. Daniel Rand must run a corporation, be a hero and also go out with the (New) Avengers when he can find the time. Being called in to help The Circle doesn't exactly fit into his schedule, and with two books starring him already, there's no reason to force that. From time to time he'll appear, lending a good kung-fu hand to the operations. Other times, the big bucks of the Rand Corporation can help the team in acquiring magical artefacts and other such things. He works especially well with the other low level characters, Black Knight and Blade, in clearing the room for the big guys to do their work.

bladepm2.jpg

BLADE, VAMPIRE-SLAYER
The original vampire-slayer is back in action with The Circle. He's not the most sociable of teammates, but he's quite the asset. He's got the experience, and he's got the skills. I would go back to the more traditional approach of Blade though, so I'd dumb down some of the upgrades he's gotten. Blade really doesn't need to pull above-human feats to be badass, so I'd keep the enhanced powers as they were introduced in the nineties, but wouldn't place a focus on them. It's more about the experience and skill. Throw in a little Angel-like brooding into the scheme, and you've quite the character, that fits perfectly into this ragtag group.

talismanfz6.jpg

TALISMAN, INSTRUMENT OF THE GODS
Her father was almost on par with the good doctor himself, and she has the potential to surpass the both of them. If there was ever a more worthy apprentice. Of course, Talisman doesn't want to be taught. She wants to save the world, but that's where the boat ends. An original "reluctant hero", Talisman basically serves the Cleric role. Support for the bigger magics. She's not much of a direct fighter, but she pulls off the spells that actually keep The Circle alive and fighting. Although she'd rather be out on an archaeological dig, she can't help but answer the call when it comes.

Naturally, the title would be riddled with guest stars appropriate to the arc. That doesn't mean that it's all magic characters though. Some Iron Fist stories need their dose of Luke Cage after all. Otherwise, the most recurring guest star would probably be Brother Voodoo, a favourite of mine ever since Priest's Black Panther run. I'd avoid Ghost Rider like the plague, if only because his history is just way too confusing. Somebody like Hercules or Ares would definitely get their chance to shine. Heck, I think I'd devote an arc just to the Olympic pantheon. This is a group that has the potential for epic storylines, and it doesn't get more epic than the Olympic myths.

Of course, there would be the requisite vampire arcs, featuring the ever present Count Dracula, going a more business-like route. It'd be interesting to place this group of magically fueled characters into the modern world of science and cost-effective economics. How do these characters operate on the free market? What happens when magic becomes a commodity? Something you can buy and own? Heck, maybe even rent? Interesting question for our little crew to answer.

To top it all off, we've Otherworld, Limbo, K'un L'un, The Great Lands and a multitude of magical realms from which our characters hail. Arthurian myths means a few trips to Camelot, and we know The Great Lands have always been kind to Alpha Flight stories. A little Great Beast here and a little Great Beast there, and hey, who doesn't want a Sasquatch cameo? Exactly.

So begins a new era for magic...

Pretty damn awesome I got a idea similiar, but thats a solid team.

This takes pace in my "IBAE"-verse.

A group of teenagers seemingly assembled at random find themselves blown on the winds of destiny.

Derrik Hunter- He has two special things about him: He is a magic hunter (which means he can light his eyes up green and see magic) and he has a peice of philosopher's stone in his arm (accidently put there instead of a titanium pin). Add to that the fact that his high school was attacked by people using extremely high tech, and he was the one to evacuate his fellow students including the likely targets. he is the former captain of the high school football team, replaced by Nacho when he broke his arm.

Meh.

Ignacio "Nacho" Juarez: Apparently his genetics were messed with at a young age. He can dissolve his body into a liquid ceramic and reharden it in any shape. he is a high level shape shifter, but his mass remains the same, so his size can't shift much either way. The liquid he's made of is always referred to as ceramic. Someone once made the mistake of calling it "Mud" and Nacho almost took his head off.

Beatrice Wilder: High school witch. She was simply got with an intrest in wicca when her great grandmother gave her a book bag that was enchanted to hold any amount of books she wanted to put in it without getting heavier, and without running out of space. She now has a small library of magic books in her bag and is teaching herself spell casting.

This one I like. Enchanted book bag it works somehow.

Robyn Goodfellow: she believed she was a normal girl until recently when her school was attacked and Derrik told her that she was different under his magic vision. they went to her parents who explained that she was in fact the granddaughter of the fae, Puck, making her great-grandaughter of the Fae King Oberon. She is just getting used to the massive amount of magic coursing through her body as her parents just recently unlocked her powers.

John Lobotu: disguised android, designed for infiltration and assassination missions. When his creators discovered he'd achieved sentience, the decided to destroy him. John refused. he killed them all and escaped to the states. He is perhaps the most "morally Gray" individual among them. he believes death to be natural and states that if he worshipped anything, it would be death. He can disguised himself as any human and has a number of onboard weapons as well as handheld weapons he can loan to his friends.

The five above were the original group. after they started running from the tech weilding attackers they got on the road. Along the way they picked up two more and John Lobotu got a soul (courtesy of Hades).

Elaine Mavis: werewolf. She was taken prisoner by a werewolf biker gang and passed around. she has sever mood swings and emotional problems. She can, at times, be a bezerker, or a useless weeping lump. Derrik seems to be extremely close to her.

Brittney "Butch" Cassidy: Martial artist. She is capable of feats of strength well beyond her strength level, including punching through solid rock, leaping ridiculous heights, etc. She became a martial artist because the boys in her age group said she would never be any good. quote: "I did it because they said I couldn't". She's hot headed and one of the first to rush into a fight.

Kinda Buffy like.

Delcron and the Out-Worlders: our motley crew came across a group of interdimensional invaders, intent on conquoring this universe using their advanced technology. Delcron (an alias, his real name is unknown) orders our heroes destruction when the heroes witness the Out-Worlder's arrival. However, not only do our heroes escap the skirmish, but they also managed to steal a couple peices of Delcron's technology. Delcron is extremely interested in the fact that magic exists.

The Stalkers: Those who attacked our original group's school. They were specifically targetting our main characters, and no one knows why. our one clue is that Derrick managed to get into a fist fight with their leader and in the process knocked off his helmet... his eyes were glowing green just like Derrik's. (It will eventually be revealed that the leader IS Derrik, from the future)

There, not Fanfic.

Gotta do better Z

Well, given that it's Quasi-governemental and pretty secretive, they don't want anyone who'd CARE about the acronym knowing it.

Try this one: ART- Active Response Team. Pretty much my heavy hitters.
Wyatt Williams: half-demon firestarter. he's the token "new guy" that we watch the new world unfold for. He can create and control fire any way he wants, and can be bad ass... if he learns to use his powers. he's a vetrinarian by trade.

Jeanette Collis: high level telepath. Eleven years old. She is the team's innocence and purity. She has Xavier-level strength. As the youngest team member she is often fearful, but completely trusts her team and IBAE.

Matilda Thatcher: Phantom, formerly ghost. Killed in a high school shooting she used to haunt a school until IBAE threatened to force her to cross leave this world. She chose to work for IBAE instead. as her emotions become more extreme her powers grow. While she can't be physically hurt, she can be hurt by magic.

Magi: Time-displaced secret agent. he's actually an IBAE agent from an undisclosed time in the future. He was accidently stranded in our era and since IBAE currently has laws prohibiting time-travel, They won't help him. he is extremely skilled and an excellent hand to hand combatant and strategist. Team leader.

Harry Tower: a sasquatch from the forests of japan. he and his family saved a forest-god from a great monster. The rest of his family was killed during the attack. for his bravery the forest-god granted Harry the strength of 100 of his people, which was already significantly more than peak human strength. he has the intelligence of a 3-4 year-old child. very loyal with a peaceful disposition, but can become very violent when angered.

John Jupiter: Alien fighter-pilot, on assignment. His real name is unpronouncable with a human tongue. he has a deep voice and military training. He would be a force to be reconned with on his own... IF he weren't roughly the size and shape of a green rat. he has a very bellacose personality, and usually pilot a small ship into battle and strategizes with Magi.

Jane Jupiter: Alien exobiologist, refugee on Earth. Her real name is unpronouncable by the human mouth. She speaks English fluently with a slight british accent. She is a brilliant biologist and physician. She spent a good fifty years going from planet to planet abducting specimens, disecting them, killing them, and dumping them... IN THAT ORDER. it isn't that she enjoys causing pain, or that she is cruel, she just doesn't care. She was the soul survivor of the prison transport (Piloted by John Jupiter) that crashed. She recieved amnesty on earth in exchange for her services. She was sentanced to death.

This is pretty cool I can see it being a 1950s sci-fi type series.

It has that flavor.
