Any films that you wished had a sequel?

hey chief im not trying to start an argument but whats so funny about the perfect weapon?

I remember watching it when I was a little tot, heh. I don't know how it could have a sequel. And it's such a random movie to want a sequel for.

Boondock Saints
Ghostbusters
Dumb and Dumber (not the crappy prequel we got :cmad: )
Burton's 3rd Batman
Singer's 3rd X-Men

Tomb Raider 3. I personally couldn't stand the first one, but I loved the second one. I haven't actually played any of the videogames, but I'd love to see another one, even though my beloved Gerry obviously wouldn't be in it. I wonder why they aren't making a third...

Serenity
I had hated everything I had seen of Whedon's(Read: Buffy) prior to this and went in with little expectations. It was fantastic, and it's unfortunate that it's poor performance means that I'll probably never see more of it.

Once Upon A Time In Mexico

I seem to be one of the few giant fans of this movie. I like it as much if not more than Desperado, and way more than Mariachi. On the commentary, Rodriguez said that due to Hayek being unavailable for most of the shoot, he had to reimagine the film. It went from being a straight sequel to Desperado and instead being a bridge film, ending the trilogy of the Mariachi and starting the "Mexico" trilogy with Sands(Johnny Depp) as the lead. But it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I would kill people to see an entire film with Depp as that badass blind gunfighter, let alone two.

Godzilla
As much as I enjoy the toho's and man in suits, I like this even more. Would love to see another film featuring a more realistic Godzilla, perhaps taking it the way of the awesome animated series.

Troy
I want to see the Odyssey. Come to think of it, I want to see the Iliad done right. SO screw it, let's just go for a remake and a sequal, this time with Gods and stuff.

Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow

I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of the original film. I got so hyped up for it, went in, and was extremely dissapointed. Even with giant robots and dinosaurs. But to say there isn't potential here is crazy. If they could just manage to make it a little more fun, then I would gladly be back for more adventures. I want more dinosaurs, too.

Sahara
This movie blew my balls off. I LOVE it. Screw Indiana Jones 4, I would much rather see more of these. The pairing of Steve and Matt was perfect, and the film had a great balence of action and humor. Cruz was a bit dull, but I didn't much mind. The rest of it made up for it. There's plenty of other Pitt novels, they need to be made, with the same cast and screen writers and everything.

Chronicles of Riddick

More outlaws, killers, bounty hunters, and killer alien monsters, less everything else. The stuff in this movie that dealt with Riddick and his nemesis Tombs ruled. The stuff when they weren't on screen... not so cool. I liked the end, and would definately want a sequal. But they need to work on the Necromongers not being so drab and boring and comprised of ****ty actors.

I saw a lot of Lost in Space in the earlier posts, and I too would love to see sequel.
The Incredibles should have one, and probably will get one.
And League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is way under-rated and needs a sequel, or a TV show.

Batman Returns
The Chronicles of Riddick
Léon
(Natalie Portman as a kickass sexy assassin is just too good idea not to film! The O-Ren Ishii anime, the sequence when she's older in the red outfit, pops always in my mind when I think of this.)
The Punisher (2004)
Serenity
X2

And bring on the sequel for DOA: Dead or Alive! :oldrazz:

There's probably few more which I can't think of right now.

a batman returns sequel would be good, VERY VERY unlikely tho:(

Old School, but only if Will Ferrell changes his mind.
Punisher, 2004
Someone said Leon, that could be interesting.

A Clockwork Orange?
They could do it on: A Clockwork Testament: Enerby's End.
I'd love to see that!

Romancing the Stone and The Jewel of the Nile. I would have loved a third one so it could have been a trilogy.
