Any films that you wished had a sequel?

Ghostbusters 3: Hellbent, where the original cast are reunited and are training up new ghostbusting replacement. Hell is full, and New York has become satans dumping ground. Hell is merely and alternate dimension, and egon discovers that by wearing special goggles he can see NY "as hell".

e.g girl relaxing in bathtub. goggles = girl in boiling vat.

it sounded really epic and really cool. the only problem was that the "new" ghostbusters didnt really have much of a personality - but Im sure this would have been ironed out. PLUS with the new XBOX360 Ghostbusters game looking like its going to come out, and the massive fan interest, I think the studio will realise theres an audience for this movie.

Other sequels on my wishlist WERE Indy 4 and Die Hard 4 - but both of those seem to be shaping up. The only films Ive wanted to see but have no chance of being made are Alien V and Tarantinos Casino Royale starring Brosnan.

ah well...............

remo IS being re-made funnily enough, although the new movie will follow the books alot more closely, which is a shame cos I loved the 80's cheese of that pic.

BTT4 is NOT being made. The studio have been trying to see what they can do with a BTTF that doesnt involve Fox or Lloyd, but no-one wants to see that. Plus the writer/director wont be involved and are adamnatly against the movie being made.

It is being written actually, and Fox has expressed interest in it. In terms of funding etc, and contracts, nothing has been done, but the writing is definately a good sign:)

(I have a mate who's insane for the BTTF film!)

Back To The Future Part 4
RoboCop 4
Ghostbusters 3
X-Men 4

Thats all I can think of.

CAH

thanks for the info

Freddy vs. Jason the ending just begs for a sequel. New Line should make another one, FVJ grossed more in it's opening weekend than any of the other Elm Street or Friday the 13th films grossed entirely, so that shows that they can still make alot of profit.

ah well, I think I'm right and I'd be willing to put money on BTTF 4 not happening. The studios ARE interested (why wouldnt they be) but without the original cast, writer or director - it'll be BTTF in name only.

there was talk of a tv series at some point, a year back...but its not in major development, its just being thrown around. Be quite a few years, if ever, for anything to manifest. I'd tell your mate not to hold his breath is all.

In 2000, it was looking pretty sure we'd get a Ghosbusters sequel, but by 2002 it was dead. These things happen all the time.

Actually there is talk of a prequel called Back to the Beginning, and Fox said he is interested but he wants Marty to be older and wiser like Younger Doc, Christopher is still interested look at the Direct TV commericals..

Anyone here want to see a Quantum Leap movie? I'm thinking about writing one..

Predictably, I'd love to see a sequel to Casshern. However, the story is perfect and complete on it's own, and the film is so dense and layered that it doesn't require a sequel.

It made like 95 million.
That's alot, and amazing, nearly a blockbuster for Freddy and Jason.
