Firestorm Or Aquaman Movie?

Are'nt We Tired Of Superman/batman Already
Is Dc Line Up That Weak?!

Let's Hear Your Ideas.(besides Jla)

Aquaman? Yes, but only if it takes place mainly in Atlantis.

Firestorm? Naw, I'm good.

I would love an Aquaman movie. He's my favorite superhero. But I don't think there should be a Firestorm movie. He's a great character, but DC isn't like Marvel. There isn't Columbia, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate along with their own studio; it's just Warner Bros.

That's why I think that Warner Bros should just focus on Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman. I'd even like to see Green Arrow and Black Canary, but that's pushing it.

I would like to see Firestorm get his own movie. Yes he isnt one of the big major ones of dc comics but he is still pretty much known. The movie would be way better, than The Hulk, Elektra, and Batman and Robin. They were able to do CG perfectly for Ghostrider so really that could also do it for Firestrom.
I think the supervillain for the first movie should be Multipleman. Plenty of people know him from the Super Powers toyline and the Super Powers animated series along with Galactic Guardians. He does have potential to be a top comic book movie.

i'd rather they concentrate on the true big stars of DC, WW, GL, GA and the Flash, if they are a success then start working on lesser known charcters.

Firestorm really isn't all that known :o

I think Firestorm might end up like Ghost Rider, too much of an obscure character and idea for the non comic reading audiance.
The one thing it has going for it though is the tone is more kid and family friendly.

It could be sort of campy fun, scientist and high school jock are in a lab accident that meges them together to become one powerful superhero.

But I think before they make this movie his name needs to get out there more.
Maybe guest star on some other shows like a cartoon, perhaps the Batman or Legion of Superheroes or whatever cartoon was out at the time (maybe a Flash or GL cartoon).

But he is still most likely too abstract an idea for the public and the studio would try changing it to make it work better in their eyes.
Personally I see him working better as a character on a cartoon show.
But I don't think you can rule out this movie.

What about a Spector movie? Anyone want to see that?

I wouldn't mind seeing that. Although since it will be doing acts of vengeance this will be Rated R. It's similar to the Punisher except has the power of a God so it might be hard to get a Pg13 rating with that. But if they tone it down like they did with Ghostrider then maybe they can get a PG13 rating.

Sub Mariner owning Aquaman.:woot: :yay: The Sub Mariner has a way better history, is a way better written character, debut before Aquaman, and will debut on the big screen before the pathetic Aquaman.

Ok of the lesser knowns I would like to see

A.Firestorm and
B.Captain Atom

I would like to see a Firestorm movie.

Hell ya to both. Aquaman, for damn sure. This character is the most underrated in DC history.
Firestorm. Two people trapped in one body fused together in a freak accident. Hello.....The psychological aspect alone would make this a great flick. The whole idea of Ronny Raymond always having Doc Stein in his head. Awesome!

OK the main barrier to Aquaman is for him to be written as serious and keep his movie being to much like Sub Mariner.

But on Firestorm he has to also deal with him being in his head. It's not a spliting personality but having to deal with two people in one body. Doc Stein is a major braniac, and Ronnie Raymond is a HighSchool student with problems of his own like another famous High School Student Peter Parker.

Try analyzing the two situations first, then make your claim over who would win, or who is better. I swear, nothing pisses me off more (not just as an Aquaman fan, but as a fan in general when it comes to match-ups) than someone who outright says something without thinking.

Firestorm. I am sure the cgi could do his flame powers and appearnce since they were able to pull of Ghostrider. Not to mention Multiplex in his origin and as the main supervillain.

No Aquaman. Sub Mariner will debut before him and it would mostly be a rip off. Take in the fact that I read they wanted to ride it as a goofball comedy since Aquaman has been written so crappy throught most of his history.

Firestorm has come way longer as being a serious character in shorter amount of time while Aquaman was still struggling to catch up while he had a head start but still couldn't get it done. This speaks for itself Firestorm while Aquaman will need another 10 years of being written serious to actually give the people making the movie and take this out of the crappy stage into the more serious stage.

Everything is more in favor of Firestorm right now not Aquaman so make that one.

I'm all for a Firestorm movie. The character is full of potential. I'd love to write a Firestorm script. I'd rather see a good movie based on a less popular character...than a bad movie based on popular characters who are guaranteed to sell.

Sub Mariner is a side character in Marvel, who generally acts as a supporting cast member to larger, more profitable heroes. Rarely, if ever, does he maintain a title. Aquaman, at the very least, is one of the big 7 and has some history that is not tied to other heroes.

Firestorm. I love the Ronnie Raymond/ Martin Stein character. I wouldn't mind seeing an animated series either.
