The Walking Dead "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better!" - the Shane Walsh memorial thread

Definitely the WTF? moment of the episode, imho.

My friend and I always discussed when and where Rick would probably see an image of Shane.

So Rick's hallucination caused Oscar to die. Dang Rick, dang. Let's hope you treat the next brother with a little more respect. Please and thank you.:BA:woot:

It seems that me and you were the only ones up here to notice that it was Rick's fault Oscar died. I guess everybody overlooks it b/c it was an underdevoloped character, who happened to be a convict that was killed. I bet everyone would've been ticked ( and rightly so) at Rick if it was either Daryl, Glenn. Maggie, or Michonne who got shot dead instead of Oscar. Whatever I knew Oscar was gonna bite the dust the moment he agreed to help Rick save Maggie and Glenn.

Yeah that was my initial thought when Oscar got shot.

He's not well in the head. You leave him alone! :argh:

But, yeah, that ones on him. RIP Oscar.

Yeah, better him than the main group, but dang. Why did he have to go out before Axel or better yet before even wearing his slippers lol.

Oh, so when it's a white guy's fault he's not well in the head, but when a brother drops a key on the roof then all h*ll breaks loose lol. Just kidding.:BA

Well, Merle deserved that key drop. So it was a ****-up, but it was a ****-up for the greater good. :o

Shane totally wants to be Rick, but can't:

Rick sexes up Lori. Shane sexes up Lori after she believes Rick is dead.
Rick has a son. Shane has a girl.
Rick died and came back to life. Shane died and came back to life (as a walker).

Shane is like the middle/older child being neglected because of the youngest getting more attention. :oldrazz: :D

Now that Shane has been killed "three" times, his is now the most satisfying character death I've ever watched.

Atleast Shane didnt act like a baby all the time and wasnt afraid to make a decision! Wish he was still on the show

Shane acted exactly like a baby. ALL THE TIME.

I'll stick up for the Shaner. He was a fine villain. He was the one guy that thought he was born to deal with the end of the world, but ultimately he was the least prepared for it. He actually gained from losing everything only for Rick to come back and take it all away.

Bernthal, of course, did a fantastic job with the character. I'm not sure if there's a character on the show with more "moments" than Shane.

And he beat Ed the eff up, and told him he'd "beat him to death" if he ever touched anyone again.

Shane also provided the green Hyundai that they are STILL driving around.

"We're trying to survive and you're out looking for cats in trees."
"Is that what you think Sophia is, a cat in a tree?"
"Don't twist my words, man."

lol Oh, Shane... he didn't even have to twist your words. :o

My favorite Shane line in Season 1:

Daryl: "Choke hold's illegal!"
Shane: "File a complaint..."

:funny:

Yeah, back when we were supposed to think that Shane was a good dude and Daryl was an ***hole.

How those tables have turned...

Shane acted exactly like a baby. ALL THE TIME.

QFT

Shane was throwing a jealous temper tantrum re: Rick and Lori, and as far as trying to "lead" the group, all he knew how to do was to charge in with guns blazing.

He wasn't a leader.

I *almost* felt sorry for Shane at the CDC. Rick and Lori are doing in the husband and wife thing in the shower while Shane is boozing it up in another shower. He really had it bad for Lori.

I didn't, that's what happens when you love another mans wife and then plow her in the woods. Shane did it to himself, he should of known nothing would hold Rick down. Couldn't of been that bad because him and Andrea hit it in the car, lol.

I think Rick should hallucinate Shane's head on his baby, even tho it's a girl.
