Apparent Editing Mistake In Danger Room-Storm Here, But Look, in the sky!

Ok, so right now im watching the beginning of X3 and playing close attention.....i don't know how to take screen shots but i'll try but for now i'll describe....

In the danger room...right in the beginning remember when we see Bobby and Kitty running? And that missle destroys that building right before we see Storm flying in the air....well if you do pause by pause when bobby and kitty are running and the building explodes and you pause it right before you see Storm flying...you will see Storm running with Bobby and Kitty!!!! you can see her cape and this doesn't surprise me seeing that we seen previous pics with bobby and kitty and storm ​

Lol I think you're right. It's hard to make out but there is a third person there and it looks like Storm's gray hair.

In the animatics it does show Storm running with Kitty and Bobby and she protects them by firing lightning at one of the missiles. Maybe this was what they had started filming but then decided to change it to Storm flying and joining Wolverine.

It's shown in the animatics like he said (there are pictures of this sequence floating around here some where) . . . it's one of the extras not featured on the Region 1 DVD.

In the animatics section of the DVD it shows what they originally had planned for the Danger Room in low computer graphics. Basically, Storm is running along with Bobby and Kitty and there are three missiles fired instead of two. Storm fires a bolt of lightning out of her hands at the first one. Then the scene plays out like the film with Iceman freezing the next and Kitty phasing him through the last.

There is no Storm flying from my recollection, and I don't remember seeing her save Logan with the spin but I could be wrong on that. Also towards the end, a large metal wire wraps around Colossus, lifts him into the air and spins him around. This causes loads of damage as he is in his metal form and he is being flung into things. Wolverine saves him by cutting the wire and he goes flying into some debris.

It would have been cool to see.

Yes I know. I'm just explaining the animatic sequence to those who may not have seen it.

Then my previous statement makes more sense as it does appear like they originally started filming the intended sequence from the animatics. Why it got changed I don't know.

If you look REALLY hard after the last battle when everyone is evacuating the island and when Bobby is helping Kitty and Leech you can see Colossus in the background helping soilders

hmmm cool! i was wondering since you can see in the final battle..u can see storm and callisto fighting in the backround?

I also noticed in the Danger Room when Storm is flying, you can see Rogue and Colossus running along in the background. I never noticed that before.

LOL!!!!!!!!! good pun...i wonder if you can see Storm in the backround fighting with Callisto in the final battle..cause where Logan is fighting the guy with growing back with arms then you can see the area where storm fought with Callisto near that opening thingy..

I know, lol. No one would notice that, except us fans who slow-mo'd that scene (and other scenes) on the DVD, lol. No biggie, but very cool thread none-the less. I'll have to go and check my DVDs for these 'background shot' scenes p

Ive very common.

My favorite blunder is in Bram Stokers Dracula. The scene where Lucy is meeting the 3 men who she is considering for marriage. B Campbill/ Quincy is seen holding his cowboy hat. In the next scene when Jack stumbles in hes carried over to a chair to sit down and then he pulls out the hat, saying sorry that he sat on Quincys hat.

Theres another in X3. When Wolv is thrown toward Magneto and Magneto stops him, wolv is facing the opposite way, but when Magneto says you never learn, Logan is facing him.

I thought that was a error until I saw the deleted scene where Magneto tortures Logan and actually flips him around so hes facing Mags.

Fox just don't care about X-Men and this movies show it. Bad edit all over this movie.

yeah but its annoying cause their hiding this footage which the fans want to see...only i would go around slow moing the scenes could some cool stuff can be seen.
