Aragorn vs. Legolas who would win?

Well For you LOTR fans an non fans this question has been in my mind for sometime. Its pretty simple in a fight between the 2 most badass warriors in the fellowship who would win in a fair fight? Aragorn with his great sword and elven knife against Legola's bow and white knives. Legolas lightning fast and elegant but deadly moves v.s aragorn's brutal sword techniques and ranger experience. Who has the edge in this fight.

Sadly Aragorn would fall. Legolas is way to good with that Bow, & fast as well. Aragorn would be dead before he got to him.

Well remember that aragorn knows legolas and how he shoots,he's a smart fighter so he would look for a way to take the fight to a close quarter hand to hand scenario(sword vs knives). Yes Legolas will shoot the arrows first but aragorn wouldn't be that stupid to just stand in the way,he would most likely approach legolas while covering himself with a good shield or using the sorroundings until he has legolas face to face.

I think even if Aragon could find a way past Legolas' arrows (which he probably could) I don't think he could beat in a sword fight. Aragon would probably be stronger, but Legolas is just to fast and probably land more strikes on him.

Well People have different opinions,an I made this for fun, and it is not nescesarily an obvious legolas victory it depends on many things.

An The argument that legolas took down a mumakil and its army single handedly doesn't nescesarily mean he would win. Let me remind you and others that before legolas and gimly came to the rescue aragorn fought a horde of urukai by himself,plus he did pretty well fighting the nazgul. All in all I love both characters, but they both have their strenths.

Legolas is the fastest one with a bow and with the knives he's great too but aragorn is the best swordsman. So in a face to face fight I think its not that simple to say that legolas would bit him so fast.

Yeah, but come on...Aragorn kept the Uruk-Hai away from Frodo and killed a few before, as you say, being rescued. Legolas killed an entire crew of....whatever they're called, and the Ottiphant, single-handedly, had the panache to slide down it's trunk as it collapsed, and then went on to star in Pirates of the Carribean.

Of course iam not trying to undermine legolas performance since I think he's character is just cool as hell and he's as great a warrior as aragorn. I am just saying that iam surprised that no one's thinking or remembering aragorn's skills.
