I didn't laugh once over the two episodes. Felt like they were trying to hard.

I have a feeling that what happens to most Adult Swim shows will happen to this FX show.. The first season is horrible, the second one is awesome, and when you look back at the first season it's improved as a whole.

Awesome first season, especially the finale, just one-liner after one-liner. Loved the bit about the cable guy, "Can you come by between 9-1 or 1-5?"

-- A few tidbits from the 'Archer' panel, which came at the end of the day and, though the show is hilarious, didn't generate a ton of questions from the crtics: 1) Archer will find out he has an illegitimate baby, 2) we'll find out more about Archer's father, and 3) according to producer Matt Thompson, "it hasn't been written yet, but it's been talked about a great deal with the FX executives and such, is a huge love interest for Archer with a femme fatale Russian spy."

-- The 'Archer' drawings are based on models that were cast in Atlanta, where the show is produced. While most of the models look like the actors who voice the characters, the character of Pam, played by Amber Nash, doesn't. Thompson classified Pam as a "sturdy lesbian." Nash has actually met the model for Pam in Atlanta a number of times, since they both live there. "And she's a wonderful woman. She owns, like, a home-furnishings store. She's very sweet."
