...but...seriously... When I got my welcoming pm from the mods when I joined - I tried to thank them (couldn't because option was locked) and said that I'd always try to be courteous with fellow posters.
I think the way to NOT get banned is that when someone suddenly makes a topic personal and they seem to be angry at the fact that you don't agree: this is the time to leave this thread. Anything further will only make a bad situation worse.

If we can't get along on a forum where we have the leisure to think our thoughts before writing them - how in Sam hill or Sam's underwear can the World get along when in the real World things are in real time?

I know that sometimes threads are ridiculous and deserve some ridiculous answers but if the poster is really adamant and feels hurt - we should let it go. Not just for the sake of not being banned but out of respect.

I don't, there's still plenty remaining *****ebags here. Like I know thebumwhowalks had his haters, but I didn't really understand why; I know he was annoying, but I didn't think he did anything ban-worthy(I could have missed it). Same goes for JAL(he was just uber-creepy).

I'm surprised that JustABill[j/k], JAG, [A], Kritish, Paroxysm, Crook, and I'm sure others I can't remember are banned.
