He was a racist, sexist, anti-semetic poster who constantly caused disagreements simply because he had no idea what he was ever talking about.

There's a reason he won Dick of the Year back in 2011, even though he was banned 4, 5 months into the year.

SAAD was simply, a misogynist who blamed women for the fact he had never been laid, and a misanthrope who blamed society for the fact he never fit in. There was nothing ever deeper than that.

Aha, I knew from some of the things Merlo said that he was an oldtimer who came back under another name. He knew too much about stuff that went on here long before his most recent join date.

All I remember about his alter ego S.A.A.D. is that he was obsessed with defending Green Lantern because he thought it was one of the best superhero movies ever made. He also attacked most other CBMs in the course of his defense of the indefensible Ryan Reynolds bomb.

Merlo was SAAD, huh? Despite what I said earlier about him being a misogynist, I feel a bit BAAD for SAAD (sorry), because the guy obviously has deep-seated problems. Don't get me wrong, glad he's banned, but he just exudes pathetic... ness (is that even a word), so I always end up feeling a weird mixture of pity and revulsion towards him. When I read his posts, the first thing that comes to mind isn't "troll" (that's the second thing), but "wow, this guy needs human contact."

Not sure on the details but I believe they can see everyone's ip address and also run searches to find matching ones.
