I've tried to follow this chaos, but it isn't really working for me overall. i just want to see how all the clues finally tie in. Is Thomas Wayne really alive, and how is joe chill really involved? Is Jet in on this, or is she just a victim? And let's not forget Hush! So many plots, so much overlapping. It's almost frustrating, really.

And can we take a vacation from the Joker? I never understood the fascination and lovefest this character gets.

Agreed. As for the Joker, he's Batman's arch nemesis and he's the favorite among the Rogue's Gallery. I will say he pops up WAY too much lately. They need to limit his appearances so they're more meaningful and not just "hey look it's the Joker. Sup."

Though the Paul Dini story where he says that was brilliant. Yeah I'm really tired of him nowadays, he just HAS to be the villain in almost every arc, to the point where he's not even in my top five list of Batman villains anymore. Two-Face is too infrquent, Riddler has almost no good stories as a villain, mad Hatter has pretty much no good stories despite a wealth of opportunities, as does Mr.Freeze. There are simply too many villains that need a shining moment and DC won't give it to them because of the money horse that is the Joker these days.

I'm not tired of this arc or anything, but as I'm excited for its conclusion, of course I'm ready for it to be over. Then there's the epilogues, and the aftermaths.

Yeah, they do use the Joker way too much. While over at Marvel, Doctor Octopus is no where to be found.

Just a friendly reminder: Just because Batman RIP end doesn't mean Batman returns, the next story-arc is about Gotham withouth Batman, then comes Catwoman story and then the Battle of the Cowl or something. I've enjoyed Batman RIP since its just a story part just like Batman and Son, Batman: The Black Glove and i really would like to know the conclusion aswell. :)

I agree with Drz. RIP is just the first chapter. It's the Knightfall before Knight's End and Kinght's Quest or whatever those other ones were.

I don't think RIP is going to have much of a conclusion beyond "to be continued".

I believe the only conclusion is what will happen to Jezebel and Batman, and who Dr. Hurt truly is.

Then we will know the ultimate fate of Batman in Final crisis, when is that going to end?

When's it going to end? Pssh! Better question...when will this be mended? When will Bruce be back? Grant can keep token up...Bruce will be back, whether he likes it or not. It's inevitable. Wake me up when Wayne’s back under the cowl, otherwise I’m napping.

I'm really excited that Grant Morrison's run is finally ending. I'm also a little worried how things will turn out in the final issue because some things are still not making any ****ing sense. But if Bruce goes, I go.

lol....you people do realize that morrisons writing this thing well into next year right?

After Battle for the Cowl, Morrisons continuing on bats....

lol

RIP? I'm ready for Morrison's run to be over.

If Batman RIP is as long term as DC is making it out to be I'll just wait for the TPB's to come out and only if it's good I'll buy.

Do you seriously think DC is going to kill Bruce Wayne? give me a break.

This is the worst news I've ever had to suffer. I honestly can't even imagine a good way this could end, the same guy that screwed up some of my most beloved (hint) characters in Batman and Son/Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul is now tampering with the very fabric of the Batman universe? How could that end good? Granted it is very interesting but a story that hinges completely on a twist is not a story, it's a publicity stunt.

Plus I'm peeved his final fate is in Final Crisis. That's lame. I'm no hater of Superhero teamups, in fact I love them, but if Bruce is gonna go, he should go in his own book.

eh, don't worry. Atleast because of Morrison, we're getting a 2 part Batman story written by Neil Gaiman which is sure to piss all over Morrison's entire run.

Eh I don't know. He said that serious **** goes down in #681 that will change Batman forever, but he could be exaggerating. Anyway, yes I do hope it ****s all over Morrison's run like Bruce waking up in bed and say it was just dream.

I would totally sell my soul for that! Morrison's reaction would be the best thing ever.

What is happening with Paul Dini though? Does he finish after Heart of hush or does he continue? Please say he continues!

Morrisons run on Batman is the worse that I ever read, so I'll only be satisfied when his run ends completely.

His story telling is a mess

Over at DC COMICS, there are WILD rumors about Darkseid representing the devil, that Desaad is really Hurt, and that Bruce is being broken down mentally for possession by Darkseid (since the fifth world new gods wore out their previous hosts by ascension).

Anyway, go there for all the insane theories. It would tie in with the original CRISIS premise that Bruce would be a new god. We'll see.
