They are supposedly still developing a third and final film with Eggerton and Firth, called Blue Bloods, but it's been a while, yeah. I guess it's either happening very slowly or it's in development hell due to the poor box office performance of the last film.

Yeah it seems to fit his style in general and the tone of the film specifically, where reality blends with fiction. Also there might be a couple of really bad moments of VFX and green screen, but the movie doesn't bombard you with mediocre/bad CGI in every shot like Quantumania or The Flash, to the point you want to gouge your eyes out, so it doesn't bother me much. At least based on the trailer.

Yeah, exactly. I can live with some bad CGI if it shows up here and there. I’m just tired of movies where I’m looking at nothing but bad CGI for long stretches of time.

I don't think I've read any recent news.

Kingsman is probably done, if Disney really considers the boX office numbers of the prequel.
Kingsman should have been done after the first movie. The second was such smug, self-congratulatory tripe that actively makes the first movie worse and less effective in retrospect. The King's Man was also a complete dumpster fire. Vaughn has been a self-parody for awhile now. The more movies he makes the more he becomes the cinematic equivalent of his dumbass buddy Mark Millar.

I also can't believe there are people who want him for Bond given he has the absolute worst instincts for the series. You can tell whenever he talks about it.

I've enjoyed all the Kingsman movies with the last two as glossy/stylish popcorn flicks.

However, this one feels quite bland. I like Bryce Howard Dallas but I feel like I've seen the premise of this before though I'm not sure where? This is kinda like ABC's Castle but make it a spy movie.

I’ll give this movie a chance because it’s something new but yeah, the second Kingsman was a pile of crap. It had a couple of good moments like the “Country Roads” scene towards the end but overall it was lousy. Never bothered to see the third one because the trailers made it look awful to me.

Trailer looks really fun, cast is fantastic and I hope Dua can show some acting skills as would love to see more of her.

Vaughn been hit and miss lately though so we'll see.

The only Vaughn movie that didn't particularly care for personally is The Golden Circle and possibly the final act of the first Kingsman movie, but I still didn't find them that bad. And I'm one of the few that really liked the prequel. So I'm still a big fan of his.

have to say they have a lot of comic book movie/show actors in this:
Bryce: Gwen Stacy
Sam: Justin Hammer
Henry: Superman
John: Peacemaker
Samuel: Nick Fury

Will be getting my ticket for Saturday soon. I have no idea who Dua Lipa is, though.

Yeah, definitely disappointing reviews. I promised a friend I would go see it with her next week but now I wish I hadn’t, lol.

Sounds like Matthew Vaughn needs to give the spy genre a rest. The second Kingsman was terrible and I never bothered to see The King’s Man because it looked like absolute ****. And apparently this sucks too, if critics are to be believed. And yet Vaughn wants to make another Kingsman movie. Dude. Come on.

Meanwhile, women directors get banned after one bad blockbuster...

Hopefully Vaughn goes to Hollywood jail for some time.

Seriously. The way people talk about Patty Jenkins after WW84, you’d think she was Uwe Boll or something. But hey, let’s give another $200M movie to some guy whose last 3 movies have bombed.

Yeah that wasn't good.

The concept and cast was very promising and I'm probably the only one outside Vaughn who loved The King's Man, but this one was kind of exhausting. It was overly long, filled with cliches, the action was bad, the CGI was pretty awful, even though I didn't mind it on the trailer, and the tone was all over the place.

I wouldn't say it's as horrendous as people are making it out to be. It had its fun moments, some fresh ideas and some of the characters were likable and fun. I wouldn't mind it as much if it was 20-30 minutes shorter, but it certainly is not a good movie, probably his worst.

I see that the Cavill Cult on YouTube is already declaring that critics hate the movie because of a conspiracy against Henry. God, these people need to get ****ing lives.

From what I’ve heard, Cavill is only in the movie for like 5 minutes. LOL.
