Great episode. I was thinking they might wrap a lot of it up like on Flash, but no - they went whole hog
crazy! Dang, number of killer twists and turns - and I think little secret Easter Eggs.
One such is reporter lady. I'm getting a lot of 'Dark Knight Returns' feels about her. I'm not saying she Ra's daughter, but there are similarities such as offering consolation to Oliver when everything seems dark. But also a little something when she was getting his drink after he showed up. They had spoken before about Prometheus getting some training that matches Oliver's in Russia.
I found it peculiar that the label of the bottle she pics up to get his drink - is in Russian...
Maybe nothing. Maybe something...
And poor Diggle. Prometheus really set him up to be caught again, and there'll be no way of getting him out again. I think the next half is going to have to finally deal with the betrayal in the military and Diggle proving his innocents.
For Artemis, if she's playing an end-game around Prometheus, then she's cutting too many ties to ever get back. If not for her, Curtis would not have been attacked and I think Malone would still be alive. Until Prometheus learned of his relationship with Felicity, he we just another cop. Now he may have died anyway, but there's no altering the reasons for why he was set up to die at the hands of Felicity's ex.
Plus her reasoning is pretty hinky. Save the city from Oliver, by siding with another serial killer..? Okay...
And of course Laurel. Aah, Laurel...
I have been staying away from spoilers, so her arrival at the end was a great surprise!
Loved it. My jaw was actually dislocated and flopping against my chest!

Now we need a good explanation as to how she's still alive! My previous thought was that Flashpoint was the key and that Nissa had resurrected her with the Lazarus pit that she hadn't after all destroyed, and had been keeping Laurel safe in memorium to Sara.
If that were the case, a reason why she may show up now would be to warn Oliver of Talia al Ghul and her imminent arrival in Star City. That, and I don't think pre-death Laurel would have been able to sneak into the Arrow Lair without either some help or some new mad skills!
I just hope she's not Black Siren in disguise.
Uggh,
six weeks!
