Eh, I think that bit is overblown. We've seen how good Prometheus is, he/she can just ninja the lockup.

That is true about Prometheus, but it was still a clue that was given. It could be important. In season 3, the height of Saras attacker was used as a reason to make us think it was Roy, and in the end the detail turned out to be important as it was Thea, who has a similar height. The killer having access was to make us think it was Lance and Billy too. It could still be important, if Billy staged his death and is still alive somehow, or if we learn about another character who has access to the police lockup. Chase also has access, but us comic readers suspect him to be someone else of course, unless he is both.

Sounds plausible. But, I wonder how they would write her out again. Surely they wouldn't kill her again. And I don't see them adding Laurel to the recurring cast of The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow. I guess she could simply "retire", although that wouldn't be the most interesting conclusion to the character's storyline.

Well, that was short lived.

Don't leave so soon!

Right now she's a 'floater,' contracted to move among the Flash and Arrow as well as LoT as a guest star, same as Barrowman. The big question is if this is Laurel or Black Siren.

I'm hoping it's Laurel, because as much as I want Cassidy back on the show is how much I want Laurel back on the show.:cwink:

Laurel, most articles have been saying so. Although Siren was good, I still wanted Laurel back.

I hope that it's not Black Siren. Because 1. That requires a lot of explanation across two shows, 2. It makes Team Flash look like total idiots, and 3. Most people (from what I've seen/heard anyway) want the REAL Laurel back.

1) it doesn't require any more explanation than whatever other contrived excuse there is for her being back, (flashpoint, or other third earth laurel) all of those require mechanics that were based in Flash. Perhaps after Flashpoint reset the timeline, they didn't capture Black Siren, and she just got away.

2) It doesn't necessarily make team flash look like anything, depending on how they explain it. It's certainly possible the story isn't "team flash let her escape somehow".

3) Absolutely most people want the REAL Laurel back. That doesn't mean that's what we're getting. If anything, based on the track record with the producers, they'll probably go in the opposite direction, and spit on her legacy a little more.

Is it me, or has Cassidy really gotten the shaft from this show..?

Using Flashpoint as a storytelling crutch to do whatever they want is, really lazy. Also if she was still imprisoned, and she got out and they apparently couldn't stop it or didn't tell Oliver and co, then yes it does make them look bad.

Well I gave this episode a one of out of 10 as apparently Laurel is back from the dead and I want Laurel to stay dead as I never ever liked her and found her annoying and very self centered, neither do my mates or nephews who also hate Laurel. Plus Olicity are not together anymore, that's BS.

I really hope this is your attempt at an exaggerated impression of a crazy Olicity fan, as the idea of this being a serious post is hilarious to me.

No s/he is a crazed Olicity fan. IIRC their first post on the hype was to bash Laurel. That set off my troll alert. There were quite few people who did that but most went away after a few posts. This one stuck around.

I wonder if [BLACKOUT]Laurel[/BLACKOUT] isn't a hallucination. There was a camera focus on the vodka after all... :hmm

I think that's a tip to Reporter Lady having ties to his Russian past.

And I keep thinking I saw a teaser of her having video proof of Oliver being in Russia when he should have still been on the island. Was I dreaming..?

I'm not expecting Laurel to actually be back any more than Shado. I like the character, but it's not a good idea to keep bringing people back from the dead.

They went 4 years with bringing people back, whats one more year?

I rewatched the episode again and thought it was even more awesome than the first time. Cassidy coming back is surely gonna ruffle feathers.

It was the best episode of the season IMO. The scene with Oliver going up the escalator, confronting Prometheus and then the mirrors was great stuff IMO.

Of clear deaths that we see a body on screen? If I'm being generous, I'll count Merlyn (although I thought at the time that it seemed like he could be faking it because Ollie immediately left the scene). Otherwise, it's just Sara and they went out of their way to say why that wouldn't happen again. Who am I missing?

You never said anything about clear on screen deaths. But even if we went with that, then we have Sara/Laurel so bringing Laurel back wouldnt be a big deal since it would only be the 2nd time.

Well, only clear onscreen deaths are actually deaths. If you don't bury a body, they're not dead.

I'd argue a second time is a big deal. Once is unique, twice starts making death meaningless. I get that you like the character, I just think it cheapens the story.

They already cheapend the story by bringing back Sara 3 times, even if she wasnt really dead the first two. She's dead! She's alive! She's dead! nope..girls alive...well this time she is REALLY did! No..sorry, she is alive again!

Same with Digs brother, 4 years of "he died in battle" but nope, he was alive the entire time.

Theas dying! But nope, we saved her.

Roys dead! psyche! He's alive!

Everyone had the same if not worse injuries then Laurel but she dies even being taken care of by an actual medical team.

All those fake outs cheapened them long before Laurel.

Not to mention that we have Amaya who is from the 50s whose time travelling to the past, present, future without a worry in the world about returning her anytime soon, same with DD, but somehow getting Laurel from the past isn't really plausible.

But even if they brought Laurel back (they wont I know) they would still have Moira/papa Queen/Tommy/Maseo all dead.

Prometheus has got to be Tommy, 4 years he says he's been waiting. Tommy could have been resurrected via Lazarus out and be back. The parallels between Batman and Jason Todd (Red Hood) come into play here.

Laurel, I dunno. Could it have something to do with the plot on LOT with Thawne and Darkh? Is this Pronetheus doing? If do I think it been Tommy makes even more sense.

This was a fantastic episode, Arrow is definitely back.

This was a great midseason finale. Arrow is doing great so far this season, and I hope they can keep up this level of quality going into the second half.

The writing was very strong, with some great storytelling, good character moments, and nice action. And the Laurel reveal at the end was a great way to end it and to get people excited about what will happen next. It's good to see Katie Cassidy back, and I'm eager to find out what Laurel's story is.

I watched a couple of clips from the episode and it seems like Curtis isnt that interested in fighting for his marriage.
