I wouldn't say that... his Digger arc was one of his better ones.

Let's face it... all the JMS hate started with Sins Past.

God I hated that freaking arc....a walking conglomerate of old dead mobsters...

The Hydra arc was his greatest accomplishment.....funny, there hasn't been a better Avengers story since!

The Hydra arc was the LAST great JMS arc. I really loved that story....it was the first and only one that made me believe that Spidey would make a cool Avenger. I even liked it despite it's forced last-minute tie-in to the "Other".

Agreed... The Hydra arc was probably the ony Avenger story I really liked. It was so good, it made me sad to see how POORLY the premise was handled by Bendis. I stopped reading New Avengers, because the way Spidey was handled got on my last nerve.

But I really LIKED the Digger arc too! Peter was recently back with MJ in that arc and the scenes between the two of them MADE the issues for me. There are some priceless moments...

Now... without the Peter/MJ moments "Digger" WOULD have sucked. And that "bedroom" scene would have gone from touching to... something I'd really have to censor from the kids, if they were NOT MARRIED.

THAT is why I WILL be DONE collecting Amazing if they screw this up.

Hm....those scenes were why I had a hard time hating on the "Digger" arc. The villian was a total lame-ass, no doubt, but the Peter/MJ moments more than balanced it out.

Yea i cant wait to see how these new teams of writers/artists are going to take spidey/peter parker. I dont really know much on any of the teams besides what people have said about the guys and all that. I do hope they will fix the mistakes jms did with sins past, the other and any of his other crappy storylines i cant remember titles to offhand. also i cant wait to see how this rotation of writers/artists is going to go.

Also will they be rebooting spidey or what not. I personally hope they really dont reboot everything that has happened in 616 verse in the past yr and a half you know cause it would be taking characters backwards instead of moving them forward and all that. The only thing i would like to see rebooted is making spidey's identity unknown to the public and back to only the heros/people and villains who knew before the reveal.

The best line of the Digger arc was when Peter described his new foe as being "Hulk Green".

And that arc DOES go to show, that when other parts of the story may not be as strong....a WELL WRITTEN MARRIAGE...can lift it back up!

Yeah... wasn't JQ paying attention to his hate mail?! There is really no excuse for him being confused about what fans liked and didn't like about the past several years.

Safe to say a good chunk of fans didn't like out of continuity sleazy hook-ups, and 9-yr-old goblin kids with the hots for Peter... not to mentions the re-writing of his origins to include mystic spider-gods.

But precious FEW fans are complaining that Peter is married. In fact, just the opposite.

So WHAT the hell gives?!

I KNOW I keep asking... because it just makes NO sense to me.

Is he in a SNIT because people rejected his bright ideas? Is this retaliation?!

JQ: "You like the OLD continuity better? Then I will GIVE it to you... Oh, you LIKE the marriage? Tough $@#&... idiot fans."

Yea all us fans will probably be so happy when the day comes joey Q is fired or steps down from editor role and some one better comes in and knows how all the characters should be and all that.
