I actually think it is worse than Spider-Man 3, but then again I was a fan of the corny Beatnik Peter parts, and I feel the Green Goblin appearance in this movie is even more tacked on than Venom in Spider-Man 3.
If this movie had had Dane Dehaan take a bite of pie while saying, "So good." I might have given it a pass, but it didn't, so...
It sure was. It was so rushed that, in my opinion, it really diminished the impact of that little moment in the clock tower. I dunno, maybe I'm being too beholden to the comics here (fans should be able to relate, since this is such a perfect adaptation
), but I feel like that moment would have meant so much more had it occurred between the two bitterest of enemies. It's astonishing to me how rushed and tacked on so many things were in a such mind-numbingly slow plod of a movie. That's an achievement in and of itself. Hmm...maybe we should be talking about the Oscars.
